Can anyone help me? I am petrified in front of the boundless poetry of this voice, the music, the melody ..... I spent the last 7 years of my life without knowing this album? shame on me but especially on the 17 poor 'thumbs' that dislike this masterpiece....
What an incredible artist, I heard her voice first on Evolve's Deeper than the Sea and I've been captivated by her voice ever since, what a beautiful woman!
I thought the lyrics had a formal quality to them. The reason is that the album is based on Lewis Carroll's long poem "The Hunting of the Snark, an Agony in Eight Fits" (1876). This song is from Fit the Second: The Bellman's Speech.
"Come, listen, people, while I tell you again The five unmistakable marks By which you may know, wherever you go, The warranted genuine Snarks. "Let us take them in order. she is well known. dude, she's singing for bonobo, radio citizen and many more...i'd be very happy if she's not as famous as she is...it's just because i dont like to share good music with shitty people.
