@tastethepainbow Tangle's still a tad miffed at Lanolin, but the three are working on it. Besides, Lanolin didn't cuff Sonic here and she was genuinely remorseful because she realized that Mimic tricked her along with stoking her anger and twisting her ideals of justice.
Her only problem is that she's not used to her new team's reckless point of view, so their militaristic mindset makes her harsh, but is good to see that there is some TANGLE(TM) Glue to keep them together, at least until we have a proper arc when the wolf and the sheep finally gain some thrust for each other! we REALLY need that arc IDW!!.

This issue was peak, though certain things such as mimic's little anticlimactic exposure and his karma escape well I wonder what will happen next arc maybe the scattered pieces arc may or may not be his last hurrah before his well overdue karma inevitably catches up to him. The area where the chaos emerald was taken must coincide with the upcoming arc or the breadcrumbs of a saga.

I'm sure she knows she will need to, as well as to Sonic for misjudging him when he was exposed as the Phantom Rider due to her black and white views on justice and not realizing there were 2 Phantom Riders (with Mimic being the second one), but she's at least realizing her mistakes after seeing how her lack of faith and trust only made things worse when Mimic got exposed by Clutch panicking.
My guess…Starline is alive. He took the Chaos Emerald. That strange background in the end made me think of a new theory. Remember in Urban Warfare, where Eggman used Giant Fake Chaos Emeralds to repair Eggperial City. What if it didn’t just fixed buildings, but also accidentally repaired living tissue? I always believed Starline would come back as a cyborg.

Yeah. Hopefully, she’ll finally catch him in the Shattered Pieces arc. And I have a feeling her mask footage will be very important in Issue 76. Not only will it prove Sonic’s innocence, but it might have also picked up Mimic in his disguise. And now that the Diamond Cutters know that Mimic wears gloves to cover his suckers, finding him won’t be as hard, and Silver can easily get the gloves off with his telekinesis.
@@SuperJamz64 she still played a standout role in this arc, with recording in her mask proving that there were two phantom riders and sonic isn't the bad one, which in turn helped Tangle with believing in Sonic, which in turn led to Tangle relaying the info to Jewel, enabling her to get her priorities straighter since the phantom rider is actually a good guy, and they managed to protect Sonic from Lanolin and convince her to leave sonic and focus on the ship falling, enabling Sonic to get to Clutch
@@SuperJamz64 another thing. Eggman actually got away with Clutch, but issue 77's solicitation says that he's at large. so how does he break out of Eggman's grasp. Is he just playing possum, or is he using the fact that he knows Surge's past to con her into coming to him and freeing him. that being said, good on Surge for literally roasting Clutch, enabling his capture, and we have her to thank for half of Clutch's exposure and guaranteeing Mimic's exposure. shame her redemption arc was as good as ruined by Clutch's hold on her
@ I guess we’ll find out how Clutch escapes soon. But I wouldn’t say Surge is beyond redemption yet, and the 2024 Annual shows she’s taking steps towards becoming an anti-hero. I predict she’ll be redeemed by the end of her next major story arc.
Best one in terms of "team-ups". Seeing Eggman in the fight was awesome as well as seeing the MHA nod with Surge. Also seeing the civilians helping on towing the ship was a good decision and spectacle.

In all fairness, I always thought that while impressive, Sonic's skills are still fairly par for the course, given that people such as Rough and Tumble who are seeming nobodies can fight him and knuckles. Plus, he does all that stuff with help and great effort, so it's not like he's all-powerful. Point being, while Sonic is a powerful dude, he's in a world of powerful people, with even humans like the commander and Eggman being able to give him a run for his money should the need arise.

I don’t see why Sonic would ever struggle with people like Rough, Tumble, or Clutch other than plot purposes.

I also like the fact that.. everytime amy hugs him sonic doesn't show any sign of uncomfortableness he just embrace her feelings which is nice..no more of that cat-mouse dynamic like let these two have a closer relationship with eachother.

Amy is writing poorly in Frontiers, can we seriously not simply admit this? A tone change should show different sides of a character, not remove their character altogether. And what do you mean about her cheerfulness eventually showing up? Evan Stanley has always written Amy like this because guess what? She knows how to write Amy unlike some writers. I like plenty of Ian Flynn's work but I just think he frankly sucks at writing Amy.

Now i do agree evan Stanley write amy abit better than ian flynn but even under ian flynn's pen she was still abit bubbly still and loving sonic and even teasing him and had a playful dynamic with him like in issue 2(blantantly said i love you),14,15,32(hugging him openly),sonic frontiers prequel comic (yes she was abit more cheerful there) and most importantly...amy's 30th anniversary comic written by ian aswell and he gets her character very well in that comic particular etc.. Now also what do i mean by ((her bubbliness eventually shows up)) i mean everytime when the story was serious with higher stakes she barely got the opportunity to be more bubbly and expressing herself i mean there was some moments here and there like her moments with cream and her optimism and such but for the most paty she was affected the event of metal virus...like you can't expect her to be bubbly in that moment like that's just illogical and stupid but whenever the story has lighter tone and with abit lower stakes like chao race then she has a chance to be more like herself and expressing herself abit more like whenever she was bubbly it was when the story relatively had lower stakes and with a lighter tone and wasn't dramatic.

Luckly he took some of those plants (as we saw on the spring issue) to the future but i doubt it. 16:40 Jewel's face gave me BIG CHILLS 😮 (it was both scary and sad at the same time) . It the second time on this arc that she has to make a *HARD* decition like this. First the Autodestruct and Now THE LIVES on the base?! poor girl needs a break from all the stress. I wonder where Silver and Blaze are during all of this. Maybe they were helping on the evacuation of the city or just somewhere else entirely. I love how jet uses the competition as an excuse to rescue people. But when everything was serious he just drop the act and call it a day leaving the rematch for later. Lanolin seems really conflicted about the whole Mimic thing. At least tangle and whisper can leave the emociones aside to do the right thing. Sonic really showed today WHY he's such a great hero. Everyone else was already giving up the restauration but where they saw lost he saw Time to make things Right. WHAT A WAY to end this Arc honestly for me it was Worth the Wait. ❤
Yo! This issue was much better than I expected! Lanolin is finally having a character evolution and is redeeming herself, Sonic is doing epic things as usual, Surge seems to have gotten a little stronger (by the way, this art along with the Overcharge scene were GREAT!) but I still think that this is not enough to defeat Sonic without the help of the script, we know that when they have a fair fight using everything he has, Sonic will overcome her, now this ending made me very curious, who invaded Tails' lab? Where is this place where the Chaos Emerald is now? And all this mysterious vibe? Will we have a big and more serious saga on the way? I hope so!

He was kicked out of the diamond cutters not the restoration itself and he’s out of the picture either way it feels like stretching to blame this all on lanolin and who’s to say he would’ve been able to prevent this either

seeing that duo was mimic made her see that Whisper and Silver were actually right and that she blamed Silver for nothing, which made her realise that she's been a hypocrite in calling out Tangle and Whisper for protecting a dangerous criminal, which in turn made her realise where she went wrong in previous incidents, which in turn made her see that she's actually more harm than good and that she's been a jerk and in turn leads her to understand why her teammates kept her in the dark. there are still a few mistakes she made that she still needs to learn about, like how team sonic's boards were actually sabotaged and she blamed and disqualified them for nothing and also who really attacked her in issue 71
I kinda wish we saw a bit more of Lanolin struggling with herself and her decisions before the turn around and the apology. The lasting panel of her being aghast wasn't quite enough for me, but that's really my only "major" complaint with the comic. Still not as good as 50 to me, but not everything has to be the best to be more than worth something.
I'm personally glad they didn't drag it out. I was afraid when the truth was revealed she was going to throw a pity party for herself and refuse to help until Tangle and Wisper knocked some sense into her. But they didn't go that route. When Lanolin realized she messed up she immidiatly decided to do her best to make things right.
Fun fact, canon wise the very first known eggman plan is like 4 years ago from this point, AT MOUST, Cluch has been an active problem for likely WAY longer than him (never got to the same level, but still)
I'm so glad that Rough and Tumble were able to help out Sonic's friends, Mimic's true identity was finally revealed and The Babylon Rogues as well as the citizens are pitching in to help save the people inside of the ship as well as save the city from facing total destruction. Such a great way to wrap up the conclusion of The Phantom Rider Arc.
Mimic could be really dangerous if he had like a chaos, emerald or wisp it make his transformations deadlier I hope tangled learn to absorb west powers. Imagine her having a spiky tail or rock tail or drill tail or laser tail. You get the gist.
- The Villains are on the loose - Lanoline learned her lesson - The HQ may have fallen, but the Restoration lives on - And the Yellow Chaos Emerald is missing This issue not only wrapped up the CleenSweep Saga very well, but it has also set up the epilogue arc along with the next story saga. I look forward to what will happen next.
Surge and kit, going their own way is awesome, and the overcharge scene was my favourite part about all of this. she’s getting stronger, I’m looking forward to that rematch that she’s going to have with sonic. But right now she needs to relax and recharge, sleep well.(same for kit as well)
I just noticed that at 29:05, the interior of the building that’s holding the yellow emerald looks a lot like a certain Black Comet’s interior. Now, I’m not saying it’s possible for the Black Arms to be back for a third time, maybe it is some vines and whatnot, BUT, the fact that it looks like that, is kinda suspicious.
Yeah but it could be possible we are getting a new Gizoid/Emerl backstory rework, cause Emerl is one of the only other people who could walk into Tails' house without showing any signs of an alarm.

This arc... It's the best thing Ian had to offer. So many groundbreaking story, in the end Tails chaos emerald got somehow stole from someone just break in of his house. You don't think Starline has returned don't you? Well we haven't seen his body since the debris fell on him so it no evidence whether he's dead or not

The Riders arc has officially over, Now that Lanolin is redeemed her next step is to Apologize to Silver for not trusting him about Duo aka Mimic and kicked him out of the team, Surge and Kit is on their own quest of being a heroes, I don't about Rough and Tumble and don't worry Jewel 😉 the Restoration HQ may have destroyed but NOT the people it will be rebuild. And I wonder what's Dr.Eggman gonna with Clutch? and Mimic's next plan ? See you in the Sonic IDW comic the Redemption arc
I'm surprised that in Sonic X Shadow Generations they tried to soften Robotnik's dialogue, while here Clutch literally says that he "bled out" other heroes.
Going by the nasty glare Sonic gave Surge, their next confrontation probably isn’t going to be pretty (especially for surge since he just shook off her biggest attack), they had their chance and they blew it, it’s a wonder how surge and Kit are going to get people to try and admire and see them as heroes since they worked for the person responsible for the destruction of restoration HQ and left without even trying to save anyone. I hope Lanolin will be alright, she doesn’t deserve the scorn for being deceived, Mimic is the one who’s gotta pay for what he’s done Also a surprising show of heroism by the Babylon Rouges, and I love the little moment between Jet and Sonic at the end. Also I love me some little Sonamy moments. And motobud is finally fixed! I wonder what the next arc will be?
I realized that Starline may have been the one who took Tails’ Chaos Emerald. He’s the only character we know of who’s ever tried to break into Tails’ house and found out how heavily guarded it is from the outside. And if Eggperial City could regenerate itself, maybe it could regenerate living tissue as well, and resurrected Starline, giving him a chance to escape Eggperial City under the radar. This could be his big comeback. Alternatively, the Chaos Emeralds might be being brought to the Starfall Islands, and Sonic Frontiers will happen after Issue 80. Either way, this is going to be interesting.
AM I the only one freaked out by how weirdly capeable Cluch is PHISICALY ?!?, he is here evading Surge and not getting knoc on his ass by Sonic in the first 5 seconds, Like HOW??
What? Sonic threw him on his ass before he finished saying Sonic. The only reason he didn't get taken down faster was because Sonic wasn't taking him seriously.
Overall, I’d give this arc an 8/10. I’m disappointed by some things, such as Mimic still remaining a Karma Houdini, but I’m satisfied with Lanolin’s redemption, and Eggman appearing as well as Motobud was a nice surprise. I guess we’ll have to wait at least another 7 weeks for Mimic to be caught, but I can live with that since at least he’s been exposed and Silver will be allowed to rejoin the Diamond Cutters. And I can’t help but wonder about Tails’ Chaos Emerald being taken. Perhaps Issue 68 wasn’t a filler episode after all…
Dont get me wrong im glad lanolin realized she fucked up royal, but i was kinda expecting a little more than just a look of shocked realization maybe when the next issue come out we'll see just how much she has to make up for.

This was an ISSUE i loved every single thing about it and loved that Lanolin has indeed learned something but I gotta know when my girl sage is gonna be in IDW but oooooh I'm gonna love the next adventure
Well, I gotta say, I'm rating this issue 8/10!! The fight scenes was really epic!! And Eggman taking Clutch was kinda unexpected, I was kinda expecting Clutch to fighting against Eggman after he successfully escaped, but this one's alright. As for Surge and Kit, they're finally get a chance to become heroes even though many characters sees them otherwise after what they did to Sonic, what happened to them or what are they gonna do next we don't know, but it seems like looking for their pasts are no longer relevant and it seems like they started to become anti heroes. I would've rate this issue 9/10 if Mimic gets arrested or at least gets beaten first, but with him leaving his allies behind again should've makes him cornered even more. As for Lanolin. Tbh, I still hates her, but at least she can look where her mistakes at and admits it and didn't ended up like Starline. But I kinda feel sorry for the Restoration tho. Their HQ's destruction crippled them from fighting against evils and forcing them to focussing on recovering themselves first. And if it wasn't for the plot twist at the end of the issue, I would've rate this 10/10. And tbh, it wasn't disappointing, it's just unexpected. And judging from the background, I kinda assuming that Black Arms might be returning.
Finally the last issue is here and I loved it. I don't know where to begin first. First things first can I say I love the whole thing with Rough and Tumble helping out and being trapped bars with it being unlocked. That's honestly funny. And I like the whole thing with Surge and Kit. They will definitely come back and I like how they are just able to just be neutral while finding the enemy and finding Sonic. And I just love Surge's new move called overcharge, that's really cool. The whole ship falling and heading towards the city was definitely is anxiety inducing, I'm making a choice to make the whole ship land near the HQ and possibly destroying it is really sad to see after so many comic book issues. And I especially feel a lot for Jewel since she helps build this place up and it hurts to see it be destroy practically. For Eggman I really like how we just popped in for this new plan and planning to do something to Clutch. And I just like how Sonic and Jet are making this a race and a competition to see who can save the most people while everything is literally on fire. And I really like Talis and Belle's new invention of making a motorbug hover which save Sonic's life. And I'm kind of curious about the ending though with the whole Chaos Emerald missing will it tie in to Sonic Frontiers. Since these old relics reminds me of that. And finally I've been saving the best for last so whole fiasco between Tangle, Whisper, Lanolin, and Mimic. As soon as Mimic was exposed I literally yelled out yes out loud and I was just shooting for literally 5 minutes. And seeing Lanolin face being so bamboozled literally just cheered up my day. Like the smug satisfaction of looking on her face when she messed up will ever be ingrained in my mind and I'll not stop smiling about it. But I like she apologized for her actions and stuff and saying that you'll learn and I love how Tangle says that we're on the same side but also she is still very mad at her for doing all that and I couldn't agree more with Tangle. Lanolin chose to be heart headed and now look what happened a person infiltrated the group and now the ship is about to tank into a city and causing property damage. And what's worse is that Whisper was thinking that she was going insane at that point and that she was tweakin. All that just makes me so mad because all that could have been avoided but she said that she had made some mistakes too which I got to know as well. But I feel so bad for her because every time Mimic escapes. Like seriously look at the gloves. All this could have been avoided if you just be more observant but I understand why they can't be observant because they're in a serious crisis. And honestly I just want tingle and whisper to be happy and just recover from this whole loss thing with the whole restoration and try to build it back up and I don't want Lanolin to be leader any more until she really gets experience under her belt. All that she needs to do is to apologize to Silver and honestly I would like for him to maybe hold a little bit of a grudge since he made him look like a bad guy, that or forgive. But honestly tingle is a better person than me though because if I found out that the person that I was trying to perpetrating inside of this restoration violating security and was clearly able to help conspire against a whole shipping tent into a whole city, I'll be mad to the point that I wouldn't really trust her until she has to earn my trust. Other than that I just love the arc from this storyline it was really peak and I can't wait for the next arc to live up to this one.

Mimic's reveal was extremely overwhelming, and this entire arc I think proves there is way too many characters Despite that though, I'm impressed by how they still managed to balance everything best they can, I just hope the next arc focuses on a smaller number this time

This issue is fantastic! The action for the Riders arc’s conclusion is spot on! Most of all, I appreciate that Lanolin realizes her mistake now that Mimic’s exposed. All she needs to do, while mending her partnership with Tangle and Whisper, is to apologize to Sonic, Tails, Amy and Silver. Fantastic issue overall. The wait was worth it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have mixed opinions about certain things the writers do with the characters. I still don't care for Lanolin or the orangutan mechanic guy. In my AU the ship crashed somewhere else not Restoration HQ. And Lanolin was never part of the diamond cutters team. But hey not everyone likes the canon, that why we make our own AU's. Also I get to upgrade Beck's version of Moto Bud.
Looking at that place where the chaos emerald is being held, I bet there’s a new villain in the works, possibly a spider villain. We haven’t had one in the sonic universe for years 🕷️

We still have yet to establish if Jewel actually suspected Duo since issue 64. and the chaos emerald going missing? who could've taken it? anyway, the worst of the drama is over now that Clutch and Duo's deception is exposed and team sonic and Silver's names are cleared and justice is served, but there are still some loose ends to tie up
It looks like tangle and whisper is mad and not mad at the same time at lanolin because they know she made a mistake and feels terrible i mean that wasnt the reaction i was expecting from whisper and tangle but okay now the question is what about silver how will he react to find out he was right about mimic?

This arc was actually so great❤ the Chaotix were awesome to see and it all just fit so well. The babylon rogues slowly getting redemption and lanolin finally coming to her senses. Just a great issues

This issue was peak, though certain things such as mimic's little anticlimactic exposure and his karma escape well I wonder what will happen next arc maybe the scattered pieces arc may or may not be his last hurrah before his well overdue karma inevitably catches up to him. The area where the chaos emerald was taken must coincide with the upcoming arc or the breadcrumbs of a saga.

Wow, Whisper's mad. especially because she was right about Mimic and had him in sights, only to them get gaslit into believing that she was wrong and let him go. Can't blame her though
Yeah. Hopefully, she’ll finally catch him in the Shattered Pieces arc. And I have a feeling her mask footage will be very important in Issue 76. Not only will it prove Sonic’s innocence, but it might have also picked up Mimic in his disguise. And now that the Diamond Cutters know that Mimic wears gloves to cover his suckers, finding him won’t be as hard, and Silver can easily get the gloves off with his telekinesis.
@@SuperJamz64 she still played a standout role in this arc, with recording in her mask proving that there were two phantom riders and sonic isn't the bad one, which in turn helped Tangle with believing in Sonic, which in turn led to Tangle relaying the info to Jewel, enabling her to get her priorities straighter since the phantom rider is actually a good guy, and they managed to protect Sonic from Lanolin and convince her to leave sonic and focus on the ship falling, enabling Sonic to get to Clutch

Is he just playing possum, or is he using the fact that he knows Surge's past to con her into coming to him and freeing him. that being said, good on Surge for literally roasting Clutch, enabling his capture, and we have her to thank for half of Clutch's exposure and guaranteeing Mimic's exposure. shame her redemption arc was as good as ruined by Clutch's hold on her
@ I guess we’ll find out how Clutch escapes soon. But I wouldn’t say Surge is beyond redemption yet, and the 2024 Annual shows she’s taking steps towards becoming an anti-hero. I predict she’ll be redeemed by the end of her next major story arc.

Best one in terms of "team-ups". Seeing Eggman in the fight was awesome as well as seeing the MHA nod with Surge. Also seeing the civilians helping on towing the ship was a good decision and spectacle.
Gotta love it when a teenage hedgehog who fights a mad scientist, has destroyed 2 gods, the embodiment of the end of the world, an artificial lizard, a water monster, literal demons, a dragon, genies, a witch, and entities in dreams taking down a crime boss
In all fairness, I always thought that while impressive, Sonic's skills are still fairly par for the course, given that people such as Rough and Tumble who are seeming nobodies can fight him and knuckles. Plus, he does all that stuff with help and great effort, so it's not like he's all-powerful. Point being, while Sonic is a powerful dude, he's in a world of powerful people, with even humans like the commander and Eggman being able to give him a run for his money should the need arise.

That isn't how character writing works... A character shouldn't be out of character just because the tone of the story is different, that is ridiculous. Amy is writing poorly in Frontiers, can we seriously not simply admit this? A tone change should show different sides of a character, not remove their character altogether. And what do you mean about her cheerfulness eventually showing up? Evan Stanley has always written Amy like this because guess what? She knows how to write Amy unlike some writers. I like plenty of Ian Flynn's work but I just think he frankly sucks at writing Amy.

Now also what do i mean by ((her bubbliness eventually shows up)) i mean everytime when the story was serious with higher stakes she barely got the opportunity to be more bubbly and expressing herself i mean there was some moments here and there like her moments with cream and her optimism and such but for the most paty she was affected the event of metal virus...like you can't expect her to be bubbly in that moment like that's just illogical and stupid but whenever the story has lighter tone and with abit lower stakes like chao race then she has a chance to be more like herself and expressing herself abit more like whenever she was bubbly it was when the story relatively had lower stakes and with a lighter tone and wasn't dramatic.

Yo! This issue was much better than I expected! Lanolin is finally having a character evolution and is redeeming herself, Sonic is doing epic things as usual, Surge seems to have gotten a little stronger (by the way, this art along with the Overcharge scene were GREAT!) but I still think that this is not enough to defeat Sonic without the help of the script, we know that when they have a fair fight using everything he has, Sonic will overcome her, now this ending made me very curious, who invaded Tails' lab? Where is this place where the Chaos Emerald is now? And all this mysterious vibe? Will we have a big and more serious saga on the way? I hope so!

seeing that duo was mimic made her see that Whisper and Silver were actually right and that she blamed Silver for nothing, which made her realise that she's been a hypocrite in calling out Tangle and Whisper for protecting a dangerous criminal, which in turn made her realise where she went wrong in previous incidents, which in turn made her see that she's actually more harm than good and that she's been a jerk and in turn leads her to understand why her teammates kept her in the dark. there are still a few mistakes she made that she still needs to learn about, like how team sonic's boards were actually sabotaged and she blamed and disqualified them for nothing and also who really attacked her in issue 71

I kinda wish we saw a bit more of Lanolin struggling with herself and her decisions before the turn around and the apology. The lasting panel of her being aghast wasn't quite enough for me, but that's really my only "major" complaint with the comic. Still not as good as 50 to me, but not everything has to be the best to be more than worth something.

Such a great way to wrap up the conclusion of The Phantom Rider Arc.

Mimic could be really dangerous if he had like a chaos, emerald or wisp it make his transformations deadlier I hope tangled learn to absorb west powers. Imagine her having a spiky tail or rock tail or drill tail or laser tail. You get the gist.

The Riders arc has officially over, Now that Lanolin is redeemed her next step is to Apologize to Silver for not trusting him about Duo aka Mimic and kicked him out of the team, Surge and Kit is on their own quest of being a heroes, I don't about Rough and Tumble and don't worry Jewel 😉 the Restoration HQ may have destroyed but NOT the people it will be rebuild. And I wonder what's Dr.Eggman gonna with Clutch? and Mimic's next plan ? See you in the Sonic IDW comic the Redemption arc

I'm surprised that in Sonic X Shadow Generations they tried to soften Robotnik's dialogue, while here Clutch literally says that he "bled out" other heroes.

Going by the nasty glare Sonic gave Surge, their next confrontation probably isn’t going to be pretty (especially for surge since he just shook off her biggest attack), they had their chance and they blew it, it’s a wonder how surge and Kit are going to get people to try and admire and see them as heroes since they worked for the person responsible for the destruction of restoration HQ and left without even trying to save anyone.
I hope Lanolin will be alright, she doesn’t deserve the scorn for being deceived, Mimic is the one who’s gotta pay for what he’s done
Also a surprising show of heroism by the Babylon Rouges, and I love the little moment between Jet and Sonic at the end.
Also I love me some little Sonamy moments. And motobud is finally fixed!

Sorry, but seeing the Sonic, Surge, Kit AND the Eggman Bot manhandle Clutch was awesome!
I realized that Starline may have been the one who took Tails’ Chaos Emerald. He’s the only character we know of who’s ever tried to break into Tails’ house and found out how heavily guarded it is from the outside. And if Eggperial City could regenerate itself, maybe it could regenerate living tissue as well, and resurrected Starline, giving him a chance to escape Eggperial City under the radar. This could be his big comeback. Alternatively, the Chaos Emeralds might be being brought to the Starfall Islands, and Sonic Frontiers will happen after Issue 80. Either way, this is going to be interesting.

Overall, I’d give this arc an 8/10. I’m disappointed by some things, such as Mimic still remaining a Karma Houdini, but I’m satisfied with Lanolin’s redemption, and Eggman appearing as well as Motobud was a nice surprise. I guess we’ll have to wait at least another 7 weeks for Mimic to be caught, but I can live with that since at least he’s been exposed and Silver will be allowed to rejoin the Diamond Cutters. And I can’t help but wonder about Tails’ Chaos Emerald being taken. Perhaps Issue 68 wasn’t a filler episode after all…

Well, I gotta say, I'm rating this issue 8/10!!
The fight scenes was really epic!! And Eggman taking Clutch was kinda unexpected, I was kinda expecting Clutch to fighting against Eggman after he successfully escaped, but this one's alright.
As for Surge and Kit, they're finally get a chance to become heroes even though many characters sees them otherwise after what they did to Sonic, what happened to them or what are they gonna do next we don't know, but it seems like looking for their pasts are no longer relevant and it seems like they started to become anti heroes.
I would've rate this issue 9/10 if Mimic gets arrested or at least gets beaten first, but with him leaving his allies behind again should've makes him cornered even more.
As for Lanolin. Tbh, I still hates her, but at least she can look where her mistakes at and admits it and didn't ended up like Starline.
But I kinda feel sorry for the Restoration tho. Their HQ's destruction crippled them from fighting against evils and forcing them to focussing on recovering themselves first.
And if it wasn't for the plot twist at the end of the issue, I would've rate this 10/10. And tbh, it wasn't disappointing, it's just unexpected. And judging from the background, I kinda assuming that Black Arms might be returning.
Finally the last issue is here and I loved it. I don't know where to begin first. First things first can I say I love the whole thing with Rough and Tumble helping out and being trapped bars with it being unlocked. That's honestly funny. And I like the whole thing with Surge and Kit. They will definitely come back and I like how they are just able to just be neutral while finding the enemy and finding Sonic. And I just love Surge's new move called overcharge, that's really cool. The whole ship falling and heading towards the city was definitely is anxiety inducing, I'm making a choice to make the whole ship land near the HQ and possibly destroying it is really sad to see after so many comic book issues. And I especially feel a lot for Jewel since she helps build this place up and it hurts to see it be destroy practically. For Eggman I really like how we just popped in for this new plan and planning to do something to Clutch. And I just like how Sonic and Jet are making this a race and a competition to see who can save the most people while everything is literally on fire. And I really like Talis and Belle's new invention of making a motorbug hover which save Sonic's life. And I'm kind of curious about the ending though with the whole Chaos Emerald missing will it tie in to Sonic Frontiers. Since these old relics reminds me of that. And finally I've been saving the best for last so whole fiasco between Tangle, Whisper, Lanolin, and Mimic. As soon as Mimic was exposed I literally yelled out yes out loud and I was just shooting for literally 5 minutes. And seeing Lanolin face being so bamboozled literally just cheered up my day. Like the smug satisfaction of looking on her face when she messed up will ever be ingrained in my mind and I'll not stop smiling about it. But I like she apologized for her actions and stuff and saying that you'll learn and I love how Tangle says that we're on the same side but also she is still very mad at her for doing all that and I couldn't agree more with Tangle. Lanolin chose to be heart headed and now look what happened a person infiltrated the group and now the ship is about to tank into a city and causing property damage. And what's worse is that Whisper was thinking that she was going insane at that point and that she was tweakin. All that just makes me so mad because all that could have been avoided but she said that she had made some mistakes too which I got to know as well. But I feel so bad for her because every time Mimic escapes. Like seriously look at the gloves. All this could have been avoided if you just be more observant but I understand why they can't be observant because they're in a serious crisis. And honestly I just want tingle and whisper to be happy and just recover from this whole loss thing with the whole restoration and try to build it back up and I don't want Lanolin to be leader any more until she really gets experience under her belt. That look on her face will always make me geek. All that she needs to do is to apologize to Silver and honestly I would like for him to maybe hold a little bit of a grudge since he made him look like a bad guy, that or forgive. But honestly tingle is a better person than me though because if I found out that the person that I was trying to perpetrating inside of this restoration violating security and was clearly able to help conspire against a whole shipping tent into a whole city, I'll be mad to the point that I wouldn't really trust her until she has to earn my trust. Other than that I just love the arc from this storyline it was really peak and I can't wait for the next arc to live up to this one.
Her redemption is little better i guess. But she deserved a least be disappointed by Tangle and Whisper. And the chaos emerald and generator core missing? Who broke in Tails' home? You think Surge and Kit going be a new anti-heroes? What will Lanolin going do on issue 76 of her redemption amd what going do worh restoration HQ half destroyed?

Most of all, I appreciate that Lanolin realizes her mistake now that Mimic’s exposed. All she needs to do, while mending her partnership with Tangle and Whisper, is to apologize to Sonic, Tails, Amy and Silver.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have mixed opinions about certain things the writers do with the characters. I still don't care for Lanolin or the orangutan mechanic guy. In my AU the ship crashed somewhere else not Restoration HQ. And Lanolin was never part of the diamond cutters team. But hey not everyone likes the canon, that why we make our own AU's. Also I get to upgrade Beck's version of Moto Bud.
