Hi, remember Canva is not an animation tool. It's a quick drag and drop tool to help us design faster. We use what we can that's available for us to get the best results we can. There are workarounds that we can include on our designs like blinking, walking (with us dragging the element) but it's really not like using a Doodly, Animator, Cartoon Animator, Blender, After Effect to name a few tools who specialize in what you've mentioned. I can share what I can with what we have, but if you have better solutions, please share with us so we can learn from each other.
From time to time Canva discontinues some apps for reasons known to them. Pixton is no longer available but you can create your own images/graphics/use elements already on Canva or find Pixton directly on their website

Otherwise if you're wanting to create one project maybe, you can use my 30-day free trial on Canva. Best wishes though.

I've searched this morning and you can use the below keywords to get videos: cartoon talking, cartoon dr talking, cartoon girl talking, cartoon person talking, cartoon character talking, cartoon lip sync, cartoon, lip sync animated
At the time of recording the App was still on Canva, they've since then removed it, you can always create your own graphics or go directly to Pixton's website
I used Capcut for exactly that reason, check from 05:26 you'll see I've used Capcut and it's a free editing software. Alternative websites to remove video background: unscreen.com or kapwing.com
Canva constantly updates their library. Change your search to something else, eg. lips cartoon or sync cartoon or kids cartoon, or moving lips sync or cartoon video etc. until you find something that works for your. Best wishes.

Lip sync is not a Canva feature, I just created two work around for our animations on this video
