I think every boot wearer should have a pair of roughout leather boots in this shade. Can be worn casually anywhere. In regular use they are resistant to abrasions and are easily cleaned when something falls off your fork onto them. Looks like these have aged well and look good.
Thanks, Tony! And 100% agreed. When I bought them I had no idea how versatile they would be and how long-lasting it seems like they'll be. I don't wear any of my boots daily b/c I cycle through them for channel content, but I always look forward to putting these on.
That was a really nice use of superfluous. Also thanks for the update, I remember you saying they weren’t comfortable and I’m glad to know they eventually break in
@@rockymtnstyle Good Lord, I may have to crack on a pair of these. Is the fit pretty good? Just want to avoid a "feets don't fail me now" situation! I have a watch strap which is close to the color of these boots. Good pull Patrick.
I absolutely love these boots. I have them in the brown “whiskey” leather and they are wonderful. Comfortable and well made. Super nice thick leather. Soft insole make break in minimal. Materials on par with my Red Wings, but more versatile because less casual. Agreed re silhouette. The contrast of the leather welt is lovely. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the comment, Bradley! Yeah - totally agree - these are nice boots. I wish the TS boots would get more pub with the boot crowd because they do deserve it!
@@rockymtnstyle Totally, yes. They are comparable with $350 boots, but a value at 20% off ($278). I also agree with you about the extra eyelet. It's a minor thing, but just enough where it is a boot that always has to be put on while sitting. Re soles: I got used to the 4130 mini-lug sole from RW Iron Ranger and Blacksmith. I haven't had any issues with traction here in Minneapolis winter. I have various other boots with Dainite soles (and Thursday's own version) and honestly, they are all about the same for noise, but the Vibrams are longer lasting. I have a slightly weird wider right foot and sometimes certain brands just don't fit, but these seem to be very similar to the Thursday last and the last on my Beckett Simonon Chelsea boots. The waxed laces aren't waxed enough for my taste, and since they are identical to the ones Thursday uses (also made in Leon, Mexico), one wonders if it's actually the same factory. I think the materials of the Taylor Stitch boot are a little better, especially that nice welt and the insole, but the shape of the last seems very close.
Thanks for this review. I wish there were more reviews online. Wondering if you could confirm sizing? I wear 10 in Thursdays and I'm almost 10.5 on the brannock. 10 in TS Trench? Also, is it a leather insole? Difficult to tell with TS's online description. Thanks again. Beautiful boot.
Sure thing! Yep - sizing is 10.5 for me on these. I'm 10 Thursday and normally 10 in everything else. The way you describe it sounds exactly like me. I'd definitely go 10.5 on these for you, unless you prefer a snug fit and thin socks. Thanks! Hope that helps.
Good stuff! I actually have this same boot and bought it around the same time, I think you’re right, I remember paying around $275 or so for the boot. I think at $348, it is a bit overpriced. I grabbed the Parkhurst Elmwood a few months ago for $50 more and it’s definitely a superior boot, love that boot. I think TS should really price this one at $299 and be a great sub $300 boot, seems about right. Agree with the versatility and look of the boot tho, I really like it!
You have great taste, Adam! I just bought the Elmwood on a BF deal! Love it! Video coming soon! And yeah, sub $300 and is recommend this boot to anyone who would listen. Ha!!

Agreed. Great color for lots of situations.

Thanks! I love a good SAT word. :) Yup, definitely not my favorite feeling boot at the beginning, but really enjoy them now!
Would rock these boots all day. Thank you sir.
Thanks, F! The coloration matches dang near everything so you COULD rock them all day every day! :)

I really like the moto boot in that grizzly suede
What a sharp looking pair of boots. Solid review Patrick!
Agreed. That's a good lookin' boot. Not at the top of my list for pickups, but its at least ON the list. :)
Thanks, Erik! Much appreciated, and agreed!

Really nice!
Thanks, bro!
Just picked up a pair of these off ebay, new with box, for 125 plus tax and shipping.
Wow! That's a great find, Chad. Well done. Hope you like 'em!
