Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 кві 2024
- Plan and design your garden to optimize production and harvest. Garden planning is very important to design the layout of your garden and calculate correct measurements of your raised beds. When designing your garden, make sure you know the location of trees, where they cast shadow, directions, path of the sun, and any low and high areas of your garden. You can use excel to design your garden or you can use grid paper to design your garden.

When Lily said she wants to be a sidekick in my series Garden with Jag, did you expect her to do what she did in the video? lol
❤
Please keep these videos coming because Lily just made day😂😂❤
She is adorable! ❤
I didn’t see Lily do anything wrong. Lol She is innocent and adorable.
She needed some belly rubs! 😁🥰
People, to keep this channel alive, we all need to help the number of views go up, by liking, watching at least 80% of the video and commenting
We also need to watch the video. Well, we need to let them play. Jag's content is so well thought out. ETA: the ads.We need to not skip past the ads.
Thanks for supporting the channel!
@@DaisyCreekFarms what about square footage gardening
Your the first person that shows how to just use Excel to plot your garden! Nice job
Glad it was helpful!
I love that your videos are always straight to the point. So much valuable information! Thanks Jag and I can’t forget….thanks Lily 🐶
PLEASE HIT THE THUMBS UP! WE ALL GET LOAD OF INVALUABLE INFO FROM JAG OR WE WOULDN'T BE HERE. IT ONLY TAKES 1 SECOND TO HIT THAT THUMBS UP TO MAKE THE VIDEO COUNT, THEN THE VIDEO IS MORE WIDELY DISTRIBUTED. Thank you
Tks Jag for not quitting.! Learned a lot from your gardening channel to help me with my small container garden. Perfect series as I hope to incorporate raised beds this year.
THESE ARE PROFESSIONAL TIPS FROM A PROFESSIONAL GARDENER FOR FREE. THANK YOU JAG. GOD BLESS YOU MARANATHA
Out of all the gardening videos I have ever seen, no one has gone to the extent to point out the sun's direction the layout of your beds not to forget showing people how to use Excel to create their garden bed it looks so clean so much nicer than just putting it down on paper. Jag Lily is a beauty and she knows what she's doing so trust her. Lol. I am so excited to see the rest of this series of videos I can hardly wait as I am just starting to expand in my gardening this year I'm going to add more stuff see your videos are going to be Paramount for me. Thank you so much Jag and Lily for taking the time to produce a short but yet quality video for us out there who needs your help God bless
Glad you like the video! :)
Thanks for not quitting! I have watched your videos till 2am obsessed to learn about gardening :)
Lily has her own agenda! Very cute.
It is nice to see labeling to the episodes Jag, like S1E1 :)
Yes, it is going to be a continuous series of progress of the garden!
I appreciate it, and I'm looking forward to the series 😊
You and Lily was funny and very informative watch. Not too hurt your feelings but Lily stole my heart lol
Haha :)
Ohhh, Lilyyyy, you adorable sneak. It'll be great watching you as the sidekick, Pretty Girl!
Jag, you're a good man. Thank you for sharing all your invaluable info with us, and for helping those in need.
Lilyyyyyy you naughty doggie ❤❤❤
@@jennybaez-cepeda4919 🤣 naughty n nice 😉
I like that you went into such detail about the location. Often overlooked but so important.
This is going to be a great and useful series. Lily is an adorable sidekick. But for anyone who wants to plant in their garden beds instead of lay in them, I strongly recommend making them only 4' wide.
Well done Jag
Raised beds is all I'm allowed. I have a rental unit with limited outdoor space. I didn't have enough money to make another garden, and my dogs pool ended up damaged over winter. So I turned it into a garden. Drilled a lot of holes in the bottom, my peas a over 3 feet tall and flowering, I even have peas starting to fill.
In this pool that would have been tossed out, I have peas, beans and a bush cucumber growing in it.
Thank you for all you are doing.
Lily is so beautiful! Great informative video thanks Jag!!!
Love Lily!! She is beautiful and loves her doggie dad ❤️😊❤️
JAg - that's one of the most innovative ideas for excel that I've ever seen!
GREAT TIP!
Always 😊 when I hear Jag's cheerful voice. Maybe I'll put in mini 🍉 Yet Again, though last year soon as one ripe the pests "harvested" 🙄. Counting as a win since it did grow & produce. 😜 🌱
Wow Jag! Thanks for keeping it so real! Loving how smart our gorgeous Miss Lily is. 🐕🐾
Thank you for another great video, Jag! And thanks to Lily for being such a great sidekick!
BAHAHAHAHAHA! 😂 Lilly stole the show! Great job Jag. 😅 you make gardening fun!
Thanks for another great video. As a "disabled senior citizen " I appreciate the container&raised bed info. Here in NW Florida I grow deer feed on 1/3acre in our 100% sand. I grow my food in containers/raised beds with an organic mixture.
That's awesome! Keep growing!
I'm leaving this here to boost engagement ❤
This was a joy. Been through it twice now. Ready for E2, can’t wait.
THUMBS UP, PEOPLE. MAKE THIS VIDEO COUNT, PLEASE
LOVE it! Lily knows best! haha Too cute. Let's get started with building this new garden. How exciting!

Lily is SO beautiful. You're not bad either, Jag. ; )
lol
Great job, Jag!
Love it!! I used Excel to design my backyard. It was a HUGE transformation and no one could believe how I was able to get so much in a space that didn’t look that big.
Too funny, Lily's mischievous antics
😻Lilly is very talented too.
Love thepotato paperweight.
You have trained Lily well!
So cute and funny! Love that Lily! And thanks Jaq, I never thought of using xcell for garden planning!
This was fun! I think it's entertaining, while educational. I think young gardeners would enjoy it a lot, too. 🤙😊
Lily!!
Supporting Daisy Creek baby!! ❤
Glad you didn’t give up, we enjoy your videos and your knowledge thanks🇨🇦
Thank you! I turn 65 in a few days and my back, knees and shoulders aren't what they used to be. So this year, I am growing in feeder buckets. Although, Green beans, tomatoes and cucumbers will still be in the ground. Looking forward to the next video. Lilly, that silly girl!
dog hands are the best! please keep it up!
you are also amazing. i love watching your channel. super great information!
Hi Jag, we appreciate all your knowledge sharing. It inspires many like me to start gardening!!!
would you please make one video on all useful and harmful creatures in home garden and tips and tricks to keep unwanted guests away. One of the biggest challenges individuals/premature gardeners face is to work hard for crops to be almost ready and then pests or small animals (rabbits/squirrels) enjoys them. Also how to grow disease free garden (avoid leaf cutters, aphids etc).
good video, glad you added the intro music again
Lets GO LILY!! May she will plant a bone bush or a pork chop tree
Beautiful dog, Lily loves you as much as you love her. Could you do a series on container citrus trees, I live in Michigan and I have to have mine in containers. I have trouble with spider mites.
Keep on going -- Ray Delbury Sussex County NJ USA
👋Jag. 😊
Jag, how sweet it is yo watch you teach what you love doing. Lillie was a fun bonus. I planted beets and cucumbers this morning. My potatoes are growing like weeds, butternut squash has popped out of my hard clay soil. Thank you for your wisdom and advice for us who want to be just like you!!🧑🌾🪴
LMAO love Lily. Thanks for the informative vid as always, Jag. That you could make grids in Excel was new to me 😯
thank you so much love all the great advice & cheery face that includes you Jag ;)
You should add grow bags too, they can be tricky and any tips are appreciated
Thank you for your support
Clever and informative! I look forward to watching the series as you produce it.
I love Lily! You both are awesome.
Thanks Jag for your videos. They are so helpful. Thanks for mentioning those of us living in the Southern Hemisphere too. Loved that Lily was also part of your planning 😊. Please continue to teach us how to do it right helping us ensure all the hard work (and fun) while in the garden will pay off.
Glad you liked the video!
Cute trick with Lilly.
Love the Excel lesson, especially the images! Thanks :)
Haha 😂 I loved this video! Lilly made me laugh so much! Great information Jag, but can we see more of Lilly she is such a sweet girl ❤
Excel! How wonderful and easy. Thank you Jag! My planter boxes are not in a straight line and I struggled to fit them in on a piece of graph paper and had to start again because my measurements were out. This way I am not restricted in terms of width of paper and can easily rectify any mistakes.👏👏
This is fun. I have used exactly the same approach plus the topology of the plot as well as various wind tunnels because of the buildings. Common knowledge works 👍👍👍👍
You're such a unit brother, so happy you've decided to make a series. Wishing you the utmost success. I've seen this other fella who is garnering tonnes of views in comparison to you based on subscribers, "TheBeardedPlantaholic", look I don;t know if this guy is intentionally being cringe or if he is kind of like that, but I fucking cannot stand wackos who only do things seemingly mostly for entertainment purposes.
Your channel has always been refreshing and I think I speak for most of us here when I say, thank you for being straight up, informative, your genuine self and as wholesome/educative as one could possibly be.
Potato paperweights are the trick. ❤
Jag. Love all your kids. So informative. You are helping me with my gardening and food forest. Thank you
Keep making videos we are watching and learning 🙏🥰🥰🥰
The best Gardening channel on You tube, I love your idea about using a spread sheet, you're excelling in every way, I've hit the like and subscribe button 👍
Thankyou Sir.
Haha thanks!
Excellent debut episode, Jag (Oh, saucy Lily girl!) Looking forward to container gardening and raised garden beds. I have to do both due to very sandy soil and huge amounts of garden 'raiders' (i.e: chipmunks, groundhogs, squirrels, etc....) We are here with you.👍
Nice! Coincidentally, that was just what I was sitting here doing. Planning out the companion planting. BTW, good name choice. My dog (RIP) was named Lillie!
Lily is so cute 🥰
Thank you, Jag. I loved Lily in you video.
Good afternoon I cannot thank you enough for all your doing. It has taught me a lot and is still teaching me. It is God sent. Thank you so much. I also want to let you know that I have shared this with other people who want to learn how to start a garden, many blessings your way and thank you again
New subscriber here. You are the man! In the past 48hrs I've watched at least a dozen of your videos. Very professional and well done and i even made my first organic pesticide today along with learning boatload of other things. Very excited to find your channel.
