Start Up Pool Season Filter Balls | Should You Put Them In The Sand Filter?? | Why I don't Explained

In this video I will show the results and ease of using the Pool Balls in you skimmer, and explain why you never put them in the Sand Filter!
You can see the progress over a few days and how clear the water is getting. Running constantly, keeping the filter balls washed and removing the loose debris. I have only used 2 jugs of concentrated bleach, a little algaecide and just a splash of flocculent to drop the algae to the bottom to vacuum up.

Link to pool balls! Small bag, used in filter a years worth easy. Please do not put them in you SAND filter, not what it was designed for and will mot clean them good enough.

You’re right…..filter balls in the sand filter tank would require to open and clean more often. I prefer to put them in the skimmer and have a separate dedicated cartridge filter to help out w filter balls. They get down to the micron but need to be cleaned often. They are great as an addition to your system but not standalone ❤
