16:20 Hey there! I wouldn't worry too much about your lack of crit DMG pieces, as long as you have some good crit chance pieces instead. Unless they release a character with guaranteed crits or something, you should always aim for a 1/2 crit chance to crit DMG ratio. And since most character already start with 50% CDMG but only 5% crit chance, crit chance pieces are almost always better. (Unless you get a ton of crit chance substats and a crit chance weapon or something like that) If you don't mind me boring you with some maths... If you want to know how much your crits are adding to your overall damage output, you just have to multiply your crit chance by your CMDG value. So, in the case of your current build, for example... 35% crit rate * 135% Crit Damage means a 47% increase on your total damage output. (0.35*1.35=0.4725) But, ignoring substats, if you are able to trade a 40% CDMG piece for a 20% crit rate one, That would mean a 52% damage increase from crits instead. Or a 62% increase if you use a gold relic with 30% crit chance instead. So... Yeah. Also, your character's attack speed has no relation to the ideal crit chance to CDMG ratio. (Ideally, you want to aim for tha 1/2 ratio regardless of using a greatsword or a short bow.)

I have a friend with Veleno and I used her on some stages and I'm not impressed. She is very squishy and her mobility is not great. I like Eliyar more with how her strong attack has a back jump
so is sarka and eliyar lol squishy for there class isnt the factor to determine if there good they dont take hits well if your building dps at all, but its ok to say you just prefer the other units

@@miorioff Elyar has back jump on her charge attack, but if you try to charge it to a higher level she is stuck to the ground until you finish it. And her ult makes her imobily as well. Veleno doesn't get the back jump on her charge attack, bit she can move freely while charging, gets a backjump during her mnormal skill, isn't stuck during her ult, and even get's some extra movement and a backshot with her running attack. She has some of the best mobility tools in the game, and definitetly feels more mobile than Elyar to me. I think it's mostly a matter of getting used to a different playstyle. And I do think she is pretty fun to use, although that is subjetive. Having said said, she definitly isn't as flashy as some of the other 5* units... To the point were, when I first saw footage of her, I assumed she would be a 4* character. Also, from my brief experience using Veleno from friends / trial units, her damage doesn't seem specially high... As a main DPS. Especially when you are fighting lots of enemies at once, she tends to lag behind when compare to characters liek Edward, Sansar, Xanthia, or even Elyar and Atterise. However, I suspect that her true potential is as a sub-DPS or a flex-DPS. Her ability to drop in, leave a poison cloud the follows enemies around on the field, and then switch back to your main DPS seems really useful, at least on paper. And her ultimate can also apply DoT. Rather than building her as a main DPS, I think the most effective way to build her is likelt to focus on her DoT and play to her strenghts. Having said that... Thanks to her combination of ranged attacks, good mobility, and poison cloud that follows you around, I suspect she will be a pain in the ass to deal with on PvP, at least on the hands of a skilled player. ^^;

Or when she hits her cloud with her ultimate this cloud becomes huge screen-wide aoe? I don't know, something fun which would make her stand out. I'm personally after successfully getting Xantia is saving for (hopefully) future Sorin, I'm simping for her really hard. I really like that we can borrow characters from other players though. No matter what happens we can always take a friend's character if we lack elements for the content we are farming

If you don't mind leaks, you can actually find footage of a dozen or so upcoming characters on youtube, including Sorin! Actually, in Sorin's case, you don't even need to rely on leaks: she was one of the 5*s available on during the open beta on Steam, so I bet it won't be too long before we get her banner. Unfortunately, at least during the Steam beta, her kit seemed kind of underwhileming to me. (She kinda seems like a weaker version of Albert, but maybe her kit will change on the official releae.) Personally, the characters I'm most hyped for are Nec (The witch from Xahntia's questline) and Death Crown.

i think it depends. when you need big aoe cc for enemy crowds, you can depend on Xanthia. but for pve, Veleno is okay also since she has burst dmg and good knockback. not to mention that Veleno can do strong attack while walking. so overall, Veleno wins. even better in arena if compared to Xanthia. but for the sake of aoe cc, Xanthia can gather the enemies for you to burst!
