Bro instead of pressing continuously the volume button just hold it for long it will reduce or increase the volume working for Sony so know a little bit about the brand
Your video gives off a vibrant glowing orange. Im holding it in my hand and it looks dirty. Disappointed in the color, but satisfied with its portability and sound.
It’s pretty similar to the other premium brands like JBL & Sony in that it performs better indoors with a balanced sound leaning towards a bass heavy signature. I’m not saying that it doesn’t sound good, but it’s not really an outdoor speaker, it excels indoors on a table or nightstand near a wall.
Honestly am only looking for a good bass at low volume, I'm not interested in how these sound like at higher volumes. A better comparison would be the Soundcore2's which I'm currently maining as my desk speaker setup.
@@Gianni-tn2xg Which one gives better bass at lower volumes, I'd really like desk speakers for my pc where I don't have to crank the sound too high for a rich bass
I got xb30 for several years too, and I am also thinking about replacing it, but do you think this ult field 1 is on par with the 30 series or the 20 series? I think the size is the same as the xb20 series, smaller than my xb30
@@shawnjaded1539I also had a xb30, which was very good, and I bought the FIELD. The ULT is clearer but it has mono sound, but overall it sounds better
A speaker review based on everything except for demoing what a speaker is actually good for - the sound. We don't want to hear your voice, man, we want to hear how the speaker sounds! Sound, you know, like you wrote in the video's title.
Yeah....I tweaked the equalizer of phone, did from music center earlier but then changed it to ult mode on, lowered the bass....higher the vocal, sounds better now
We don't want to hear you only talking on the sound test lol, could have given us more sound test, because when you buy speaker you want to hear it how sounds, which is most important.
You’d never be able to hear how it truly sounds through a sound test. There’s just too many changes to the sound quality - it would never be an accurate representation.
@@NadyaGT Use the reviews to narrow your choices but always go hear it in store. Almost all big box stores have them on display and it's always slightly different There's 3000 different connections, compressions, variables, etc between the speaker, his mic, and your ears.

You will never be able to get the full effect and true sound of the Field 1 through your computer speakers, headphones, or earbuds so there’s no sense in providing sound samples.
@@itstheBMACI literally just listened to another reviewer doing a sound test and I can IMMEDIATELY tell the clarity on the Sony is better but has less deep bass than the JBL counterpart. It’s obviously not as good as hearing in person, but it’s still noticeable.

What are *YOUR* thoughts on the Sony ULT Field 1?
Bro instead of pressing continuously the volume button just hold it for long it will reduce or increase the volume working for Sony so know a little bit about the brand
I don’t want to have to do that. It has nothing to do with not “knowing a little bit about the brand.” 😂
😀
let him cook bro
Ive had mine for a few months now. Absolutely love it. Great little speaker.
Glad to hear it!
Finally a quality review of the Sony ULT Field 1 tyvm!
Thank you for watching!
Design is awesome. Rubber works as a shock absorber if the speaker is dropped!
Does higher wattage mean louder music? Im trying to figure out if this speaker will be louder then my 30w speaker
I am very happy with my Field 1. The ULT mode turned off is perfect for audio books.
Ah, good idea! Thanks for sharing!
if it's plugged in will it play indefinitely?

Looking for an outdoor speaker. What would suggest for a similar price point as the Sony. Cheers
@@tonypeake467Soundcore Boom2 & it’s priced at $129.99.😊
Does it have a 3.5mm aux input jack?
It doesn’t.
Can this speaker pair with Google Nest Audio so that I can play songs with voice command?
I haven't personality tried that but, theoretically, you should be able to connect this speaker to any Bluetooth source.
How do these compare bass depth wise to the Sony XG300's?
Honestly am only looking for a good bass at low volume, I'm not interested in how these sound like at higher volumes.
A better comparison would be the Soundcore2's which I'm currently maining as my desk speaker setup.
I have both, the xg300 is a very good speaker, it has more bass because is more powerful. Both, in each category are very good

I’ll see what I can do!

Got it for 32 bucks lol. At that price point It's a steal imo lol

I just press and hold the volume buttons 😎

Total power output 40W
30W RMS for woofer
10W for tweetwr
i am not happy with the output, its muffled sound, any one facing the same issue? any solution?
