I finally realized that this is about praying to God, hoping there is a God. Because at this moment you are in need of forgiveness and acceptance. I have always been drawn to this piece.

Quando la musica ferma il respiro.. è la differenza tra questa e la musica "moderna"...

There is also a wonderful rendition with Slatkin and I think Detroit Symphony.

Nicely done. A guy named Matthew Curtis did the vocals to this some nine years ago on Utube. You should try and arrange a set with him.

    Is there a British Version?

Samuel Bareber's Adagio is supposed to be played by an orchestra of sixty-two instrumentalists to have any weight, this is musical decadence and misery. Listen to other ensembles and this work will tear your ears off.

Why do the greatest tragedies in modern human history always seem to be linked to the United States of America? The atomic bomb in Japan, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza. I am not passing judgment; I am simply wondering: how can one understand this peculiar connection?

USSR and China, for example, are laughing at the bullshit you've just said! Instead of making excuses just to say stupidity, just enjoy the music.

@enoquesant2000 So, let's assume what you're saying is true, but I doubt it because you were aggressive in your response and used inappropriate words, even though I asked an innocent question without attacking anyone.

@@search2learn776 Though you didn't attack anyone, our question was anything but innocent. it was filled with ideology.

    • @search2learn776

@enoquesant2000 And because of this ideology you advocate, you grant yourself the right to attack others? Assuming I have a certain ideology, who decides who is right, me or you? This matter could go on endlessly. The point is, respect the other point of view and don't assume you are right. Even if you believe you are, do not attack others. Therefore behave yourself

Shame there is no God, the world would be a better place without any religion of any stripe, this music makes me sad for the future !
