When I watched the recent episode, I was really happy and then crushed the next. I feel like I just got stabbed in the back.

Every single time I've tried to edit Clarke & Lexa, I've never been satisfied with the end result because the nature of the video never felt right. Even then, this video still doesn't feel right to me. I could never do these two justice through my video editing.

Okay, I need to write more about this video. This video is why you're one of my absolute favourite vidders. I feel entranced by it. Your editing is simple but you of all people know how to turn simple into the most effective. Your way with editing is just so... I can't even find the right words. It all looks so effortless. It's flowing in the best possible way.
Also the song choice is so good. It adds to the atmosphere and really underlines how complex, fascinatingand deep their story was.
When I saw this video in my sub box I literally gasped. And I wasn't disappointed even a little bit. Thank you for this masterpiece.
After all these years I still think that this is the best Clexa edit....nobody can beat what you did there, all of the little details are still making me feel things

I like how this highlights the parallels between their lives. The echoed audio over the clips was very effective and loved the calmness of the fade before the song came back in to play. This vid was so good at portraying the struggles both characters faced but also their equality.

So much was built up between them, there were so many beautiful parallels and follow-throughs, and you highlighted every single one. Seriously the best Clexa vid I've seen so far. oh man i've had depraved on my clexa hell playlist for months. there's something about the dark tone and the sensuality of the song that i've been dying to see matched to clexa for ages, but honestly i never thought to search it because i didn't think anyone really knew this song! silly me, so presumptuous. anyway, this vid is breathtaking. really atmospheric and a super effective study/summary of the darkness and complexity of their dynamic.

Oh WOW! This is the best clexa vid i've seen after 3x07 by far! I love how you captured their essence without many words .. the focus on the visual. And the atmosphere of the song totally supports that. Hands down!

Omg this is so perfect. Im sitting in class rn watching this and I want to cry and scream and hit things but Im also so happy because their love is so beautiful. Love your editing!
Hm I don't...really know what to say. It's super good. Super super good. Yeah. I really really like the beginning. The mountain and somehow you made it so quiet. And the creak of the lever. And then actually showing the burning., the violence of it. And of course the timed 'cling' of Lexa's dagger meeting the wood of her throne. I kind of adore how much you focused on those moments of conflict and tension between them, the possibility of it all spilling into bloodshed. You neatly placed the Gustus/Finn parallel into the narrative. I REALLY like the music cue when Lexa looks back at the village. Looking at Clarke. I'm not sure of the message about the child as leader => Charlotte/Murphy chaos link you made...i don't agree with the straightforward conclusion? I suppose. And the HAUNTING quote, with both of them waking from nightmares and the reassurance. The timing of that was justlsafk so good. and then the strength - love - weakness in both of them visually until you don't really know what was what anymore, and the way you mixed the audio through it, all the times Lexa apologised vs. the love as weakness lesson ... I JUST ADORE when Lexa steps down towards Clarke from her throne always have but the way you paired it with the absence and resurgence of the music here is just lLSDF:SJ! and then the succession of shots of them across from each other, and then the parallel how they watch over each other, and Clarke in the crowd at Lexa's fight (the one time i noticed the images matched the lyrics ) and then mixed with the vow. It compresses a side of the journey so well in just a few images across time. 'Clarke elevates herself' combined with Clarke's hands on weapons. It's an interesting interpretation. I think Lexa does appreciate how Clarke is prepared to kill (but then she can't kill lexa..). And AGAIn on the lyrics 'watching' these 'narrow' same distance shots with switched postions almost It's great. I like the um, quick switches between kisses on those beats a lot. I like how you put that sequence right after the vow was completed. "I won't just sit there and watch you die' then she stands there and does. ya. ONLY ON THE FOURTH WATCH did I get the link between Lexa getting shot WHILE TITUS WAS AIMING FOR CLARKE and 'jomp em op en yu jomp ai op'. wow @ self. And then back to Titus and LExa discussing Clarke 'She's special' right after gives it a special kind of ...warm and sour flavour. And then all the good times...all the touches, love and smiles and longing and on those quick beats again it's just so aesthetically pleasing - and the 'I want you' slipped in there (followed immediately by their most peaceful moment) which does a perfect job of kind of emotionallly foreshadowing. beat kiss. beat gone. It is perfectly abrupt.
Okay this was all just one big word vomit. The tension in the song is just amazing for them. I did get the impression throughout that it was a bit of a depiction of a tragedy from the start. Which is, what it turned out to be in the end. Lexa dying because love after all. Now I'm going to add the song to a playlist
