First time viewer here! Great review, and probably the real test of this skin tint is what skin looks like without it on after 30 days or so. I'm excited to try because I layer SO many products with my skin care, sunscreen then foundation or tinted moisturizer. To be able to end so many layers would be amazing and would make this product worth every penny. :)

I'm so glad you showed your close up dry skin. I have eczema and constantly have flaky skin, it doesn't matter what tinted moisturizer, primer or foundation I use, it latches on my dry patches but this looks way better than all the others I've tried! I'm going to try it out

This is exactly the product I want. I am going to order it since I am probably going to run out of my current tinted spf which is $55. It sounds like it's cleaner too. Thank you for zooming in and really showing us the product. That's why I first subscribed, you give thorough opinions and do check ins.
I have not experienced any skin irritation or breakouts at the moment (it's only been 1 day), but I will keep the description box updated as well as my ig stories if anything comes up 😊

I have not tried the kosas skin tint so I'm not sure how they compare. I will say the ilia skin tint is not oily...it is more of a gel-like consistency and looked dewy upon application, but did settle down and become more matte (on my dry skin) throughout the day 😊
I wanted to love kosas skin tint, but it's like putting powder on your skin, very drying. The ILIA serum is more like the drunk elephant umbra tint, but better, it doesn't dry my skin, my only doubt with Ilia is what shade I am..... (The samples came in no4 and no9… but none of them is the one I need)
I would love to see a comparison from this and my chelle which is another brand and it's similar to this. This break you out or pile on your skin with other products?
@@lex_faceit so I have tried the mychelle but I noticed that your review sounds alot similar to the way the mychelle just half the price and I feel like to all the skin care benefits that you get from the illa you can get from your own skincare routine 🙂
I’ve used the Mychelle and I find it quite drying. I just can’t use it no matter how much I moisturize underneath. Also, it has so few shades that it’s much more noticeable on my skin. If you don’t have dry skin and it’s a good shade for you, you might like it, though.
I find that the shade changes slightly. I mentioned in the video that it darkens a bit, but it is nothing noticeable. It is such a sheer product, so the shade variations don't translate on the skin :)

Nicely done! A solid review that hit all the important points (ingredients, efficacy, wear, price, etc.) I'm curious with all the dewy ingredients how that will work on combo and reactive skin types. None of the ingredients that I have seen should spike someone's rosacea (namely mine). Thanks!.
The finish on this looks great on you. Have you used 100 Percent Pure's Bamboo Blur setting powder? I think you'd love it and its very clean and last forever.

Thank you ♥️ side note: i found out recently my forehead breakout was Fungal Acne and I FINALLY got it under control avoiding certain products (unfortunately many “cleaner” products contain esters which are major triggers for FA) so now i always plug in the ingredients on a site that identifies if a product is FA safe....this one contains too many esters so I cannot use it but your thorough reviews just help so much to actually see what a product does and how it wears. Thanks again for your hard work! 🙌🏼
Thank you so much! That is the downside to foundation reviews...I can't speak for everyone's skin type. There are some foundations that people rave about and I can't use them because my skin doesn't like the ingredients. I try to be as thorough as possible so no matter your skin type, so you can make the best decision for yourself :) It makes me so happy that you found this helpful!
Yes! I did think about that and I tried it with the Good Molecules silicone-free priming moisturizer and it still looked pretty dewy. As the day progressed, it did not look as dewy :)

@@lex_faceit I was surprised too! I thought it would be a greasy mess but it looks awesome. Probably won't work for my skin since I'm oily but it looks great.
I tried this and after 20 minutes I had to remove it from my face. I found it way too greasy (dewy) and then after adding powder it felt like an itchy mask. the only spf skin tint that has worked for me so far is the La Mer skin tint moisturizer. So sad... I really wanted this to work.

They have 15 shades and this shade "amberlight" is the perfect nude on me :) The formula is really great as well. I highly recommend :)
