Hayley had a good argument for the win but I think getting voted out should knock you down some points, and just by that logic I think he should have won.
That jury was never going to vote for George. It's not even a Russell Hantz scenario if you're at all familiar with George's post game relationships with players- it is a 180 from Russell. George is respected amongst his peers in the Survivor community, but this braun jury was never going to vote for George after his challenge performance. I do find them a bit bitter. I still love Hayley as a winner but wish it was against any other opponent than George.
I think George also just didn't have a good FTC performance. Hailey did a lot better with handling the questions and bitterness of some of the jury members. The Braun folks in the jury even stated that they weren't decided in who they would vote for so it really depended on the FTC. George just really fumbled at that last hurdle
@kimberlytaylor3527 idk. I do temember JLP tweeted during the finale "you're about to see the greatest ftc speech of all time" and deleted it once he realized how much was cut out and he lost.
I think George’s answering of Emmett’s jury question in particular is damning, he beat around the bush just like he did when Hayley got voted out to Redemption Rock.
@@twc621 oof I don't follow much on Twitter so that definitely adds to this What I will say is that George definitely did a good job during his opening and closing speech (his politician coming out there as I imagine he's used to doing public speaking) but I'm more concerned with his handling of the jury questions and his inability to adapt his answers to the jury that faced him. The problem with voting off so many Braun is that you're gonna have a heavy Braun jury and he needed to be prepared for that and adapt when he saw the tribal council wasn't going well for him. There have been a few survivor US players that got to the FTC having played strong games and just weren't good at handling the jury. It's an important aspect of the game
He’s so hard to judge, his early game in BvB was absolutely shit. If Cara hadn’t chose to basically quit the game then he would have hypothetically been sent home just like what actually happened to Hayley I just feel like he never put in the effort of a social game with several jury members like Laura, Emmet, and Andrew. He kinda expected strategy to do all the work without any social or physical game.
I agree his social game was not good in BvB, he really upp'ed his game in HvV, unfortunately this video didn't do well so I have to go back to Big Brother content until I get more subscribers. Then I'll return and do the 2nd part.
Nice change of pace from Big Brother
Thanks! I’m doing a new Big Brother Video in between this and Part 2.
george deserved to win

I feel the same way, I consider Hayley the best female Australian Survivor player.
