it’s so strange, i started watching kayla in high school. i’m only a year younger than her so i feel like we grew up together in a way. she’s always been such an inspiration to me and it really seems like she’s living the dream. a successful career, married to someone she loves, renovating a house??? it’s absolutely wild and i am so happy for her
That's so cute! I'm genuinely a year or two older than her younger brother (she mentioned his age in one of her legacy videos I believe or her speed builds) so she's really become a bit of an older sister model to me. Just striving to the success she has- but in my own way

Kayla and I are the same age. It's crazy to me how she's grown so much, become so successful and already found the someone she loves, while I sit at home ridden with mental illness and struggling to so much as go outside without a panic attack. People are truly different and it's fascinating.

Simsie’s parents should really be proud of her: She does so much good for others She brings joy to so much people She has a husband, a house, she respects others No matter are they other race, LGBTQ+ etc. We all love her so much!

As someone that renovated my house some time ago, I can attest it that this is a good amount of progress. Work seems to be going nicelly! Also, love your pink room, specially because that pink is the same pink that I painted my bedroom
I'm actually surprised since she loves the colour so much that she didn't do it for her own bedroom. She seemed to have a lot more ideas and less "I don't know what to do here" about the pink room than her own bedroom. Feels kinda odd to me that the guest room would be her favourite room. Surely you'd have your favourite room for yourself as the guest room is going to be unused most of the time.
I feel like the guest room would become a cool kids room in the future. Imagine having a bedroom and a bonus playroom attached directly to it with that little extra room.

That fireplace area looks like it’ll look so nice when finished! We have one in our house with the shelving beside the tv and fireplace and it looks amazing, especially during holiday season when you can hang stockings and stuff (I also adore the pink room)
2:18 yes you can just have a pantry cabinet. I live with my parents and I also have a dog, but all our groceries fit in the shelves of a pantry cabinet (about 2 tiles wide in Sims 4 ratio) and our fridge. Ya some other stuff is spread around the kitchen but there is no lack of space (there's still enough space for my mom to hoard plates/glasses etc). So a pantry cabinet is literally fine.
This is gorgeous, congratulations!! For the pink room’s extra room, growing up my friends used to stay in a house that had the same thing and turned it into a second guest room with tall white shelves that held the book collection. It provided extra guest space and always felt like you were sleeping in a cozy library!
5:26 once my mom and i were getting a tour of this beautiful victorian home, and the top floor was a family room and in the middle of the family room across from the tv was an ENORMOUS jet tub in literally the middle of the room
my dad is a really good chef and all we've got is a pantry probably just a bit bigger than that closet, and our counters/cabinets (which we've only got 4 cabinets bc its got an island) so i wouldn't be worried about losing space, making the space more open and livable matters more :) also im loving the darker colors on the walls! it looks really good

one of my favorite things is decorating the house with my partner. choosing the paintings for the walls, organizing pretty shelves, choosing furniture. so happy for you and curious to see how much of Dan we'll see in the design.
Side room off of the guest bedroom or the pepto bismile room whatever you want to call it. you can turn it into like a Mini living room with like a couch on TV so that the guests could have their own little area to watch TV.

That secret room off the guest pepto pink room would be a perfect space as a ensuite with walk in for guests. But that’s if it isn’t a big deal to add extra plumbing with the contracts and money wise. Or if there’s already a bathroom for guests you could make it a mini library zen area? Reading nook zen area with peaceful calming colours of blue grey or nice greens that may or may not compliment the pink but honestly always have extra storage like wardrobes and bathrooms are never a bad thing.

I love those trees, someone in my neighborhood has one and I’ve been meaning to look it up and plant one in my yard because I love how it looks when it flowers but since it only look that pretty once a year I keep forgetting 😅.
that is what we in the carribean call a Poui tree... they come in yellow and pink and the leaves turn during the "Indian Summer", thus called because we only have 2 seasons , dry and wet, and this time of year is typically very dry, however for a couple weeks we get tons of rain and the tees bloom, then revert to their usual grren leaves.
I started watching Lilsimsie when I was 12 and in recovery from getting my tonsils removed (during her Dylan diaries days) and I remember her talking about how she stopped watching Gilmore girls because Rory going to college felt too real. Here we are five years later and she’s graduated, married and getting her dream house. It’s been crazy kind of watching you go from a teenager to an adult and I feel surprisingly proud considering I don’t know you irl. You’re probably not gonna read this but your videos have helped me get me through some really tough times in my life and I’ll always appreciate that. Keep doing what you’re doing girl, the house looks amazing!
That is SO much progress in a short amount of time, and your house looks soooo nice! I wanna stay in the pink room so bad. The electric fireplace is so nice, that will be such a cozy spot. That gorgeous tree is a Handroanthus chrysanthus, commonly known as yellow ipe or golden trumpet (these names confusingly apply to a few species). It will bloom between February and April, after which the flowers will turn to fuzzy seed pods that burst open. It’s a lovely low maintenance tree that can thrive in poor soils, provided it gets enough water. Lucky you! 💛🌼

Honestly in pictures and everything of just the empty rooms they didn’t seem very big but seeing you inside they’re way bigger! Like the ceiling is so high and it looks like there’s so much space, it felt small and quaint before.
I LOVE the pink room. My sister painted my niece's room this exact color (well maybe not the exact one but it's very similar) and I'm obsessed! It looks so good with natural wood and cream accents.
I’ve been to quite a few house construction sites, and honestly; getting dry-wall and just walls in general up does so much for understanding the actual extent of the place😂 sometimes I think ‘no way a bathroom’s gonna fit in there!!’, and then I come back after they put the walls up, and it seems like a completely different space! Walls help so much with visualisation😂
Also; I live with 2 other people, and non of us cook together. We don’t have a pantry, we only have a small freezer, and our kitchen is tiny. As long as you have enough cabinette space, you should be fine, especially for 2 people that share meals☺️
You can definitely see the progress. The house is going from a bit dated with dark rooms, and a closed off floor plan, to open and bright and beautiful

Honestly with the pantry having it split is so workable the one in the kitchen has the stuff you use allllll the time and the other one can hold bulk items or even appliances and big pans that aren’t used as often

my dad is a really good chef and all we've got is a pantry probably just a bit bigger than that closet, and our counters/cabinets (which we've only got 4 cabinets bc its got an island) so i wouldn't be worried about losing space, making the space more open and livable matters more :)
also im loving the darker colors on the walls! it looks really good

Side room off of the guest bedroom or the pepto bismile room whatever you want to call it. you can turn it into like a Mini living room with like a couch on TV so that the guests could have their own little area to watch TV.

That secret room off the guest pepto pink room would be a perfect space as a ensuite with walk in for guests. But that’s if it isn’t a big deal to add extra plumbing with the contracts and money wise. Or if there’s already a bathroom for guests you could make it a mini library zen area? Reading nook zen area with peaceful calming colours of blue grey or nice greens that may or may not compliment the pink but honestly always have extra storage like wardrobes and bathrooms are never a bad thing.

I love those trees, someone in my neighborhood has one and I’ve been meaning to look it up and plant one in my yard because I love how it looks when it flowers but since it only look that pretty once a year I keep forgetting 😅.
that is what we in the carribean call a Poui tree... they come in yellow and pink and the leaves turn during the "Indian Summer", thus called because we only have 2 seasons , dry and wet, and this time of year is typically very dry, however for a couple weeks we get tons of rain and the tees bloom, then revert to their usual grren leaves.
I started watching Lilsimsie when I was 12 and in recovery from getting my tonsils removed (during her Dylan diaries days) and I remember her talking about how she stopped watching Gilmore girls because Rory going to college felt too real.
Here we are five years later and she’s graduated, married and getting her dream house. It’s been crazy kind of watching you go from a teenager to an adult and I feel surprisingly proud considering I don’t know you irl.

That gorgeous tree is a Handroanthus chrysanthus, commonly known as yellow ipe or golden trumpet (these names confusingly apply to a few species). It will bloom between February and April, after which the flowers will turn to fuzzy seed pods that burst open. It’s a lovely low maintenance tree that can thrive in poor soils, provided it gets enough water. Lucky you! 💛🌼

Honestly in pictures and everything of just the empty rooms they didn’t seem very big but seeing you inside they’re way bigger! Like the ceiling is so high and it looks like there’s so much space, it felt small and quaint before.

I LOVE the pink room. My sister painted my niece's room this exact color (well maybe not the exact one but it's very similar) and I'm obsessed! It looks so good with natural wood and cream accents.
I’ve been to quite a few house construction sites, and honestly; getting dry-wall and just walls in general up does so much for understanding the actual extent of the place😂 sometimes I think ‘no way a bathroom’s gonna fit in there!!’, and then I come back after they put the walls up, and it seems like a completely different space! Walls help so much with visualisation😂
Also; I live with 2 other people, and non of us cook together. We don’t have a pantry, we only have a small freezer, and our kitchen is tiny. As long as you have enough cabinette space, you should be fine, especially for 2 people that share meals☺️

Honestly with the pantry having it split is so workable the one in the kitchen has the stuff you use allllll the time and the other one can hold bulk items or even appliances and big pans that aren’t used as often
that room off the Pink Bedroom could be a cute little library-sitting room type place, it could be pretty cool
