Keep in mind, a lot of these guys are HUGE. As an example, the guy who ran down the interception from his own end zone, DK Metcalf, is 6 foot 5 and 230 pounds and still has world class speed.
Ben Watson's chase down of Champ Bailey would like a word on your take.. Watson was a TE who chased down a CB, a HoF CB.. Also Larry Allen's tackle on that Saints Linebacker in '94.
American football is the only sport where a guy that could be a competitive sumo wrestler would be on the field with a guy who could be a competitive Olympic sprinter. Soccer is more athletic than is generally realized in America, but the aerobic/stamina requirements of soccer tends to limit just how big and powerful a guy can be. These guys are often huge and fast and strong in ways that people outside the sport have a hard time imagining. Like try to imagine whole teams of guys as athletic as Zlatan. It's like that. There are things that are fouls in football, but they don't have anything to do really with what is a foul in soccer except going after a man's head. You can't grab the head or neck, and you especially aren't allowed to grab the face mask of the helmet. The rest of the things that are fouls generally have to do with hitting a guy who doesn't have the ball in a way he can't defend himself. No hitting a guy without the ball in the back, or below his knees, or things like that.
One of the most impressive things that goes unnoticed is how accurate qbs are from distance. Placing the ball perfectly hitting a receiver in stride from 50+ yards takes ridiculous talent

@BANGSO I know as an American we get made fun of a little bit intentionally like the World Cup for example. But just take a second to imagine if we had all of our top athletes playing futbol. Instead of all of our elite athletes being spread out between football, basketball, baseball, hockey etc. Imagine a 6 foot 9 Lebron James with a vertical leap of 44 inches (1.12 Meters) and lighting quick reflexes standing in goal, like who is scoring on that man. Or a Tyreek Hill breakaway who has a max sprint speed of 37 KM/H (in full football pads and a helmet btw). Like what defender is ever catching him. If we ever manage to get all of our elite athletes into futbol we’d be a real contender for the World Cup I think
Only the ball has to break the plane of the white line and be in bounds, so the first play is a touch down because he held the ball out in bounds long enough to break the goal line.

There a plenty of Rules in the NFL!! We have a thing called Flags (the ref throws a YELLOW flag) Trust me tho a lot of little detail tbh when it comes to RULES.
I like this format most because the commenter is minimized. These athletes are the navy seals of sports. The highest level of determination mixed with best athletes who are physical freaks in a good way. That big of a human. That fast. And they’re combined. Amazing
The one where he wanted to give credit to Matt Ryan for his TD pass to Julio… believe it or not the ball was under thrown! That’s Luke Kuechly #59 in front of him who should be a HOF linebacker (if he hadn’t retired after only 8-9 years in the league because of all the concussions, topic of discussion elsewhere) but either way that’s a mid-level defender not used to covering wide receivers… especially one Julio’s caliber! Incredible play by Julio but the ball was underthrown!
After you had mentioned "determination" there is one additional item - from the perspective of someone that played sports from a young age - that American athletes are taught. "Sacrifice" is the word. We are taught that you go into every play fearless and willing to throw your body on the line for your team. Doesn't matter the sport: baseball, soccer, basketball, football, etc etc. You take a ball to the ribs to stop it from going beyond the infield, you chance that ankle or knee to make sure that ball hoops, you take that awkward landing for a high bouncing ball to cross it perfectly in front of the goal, you go head on in a collision with what would become a State All-Star running back equivalent to a 40mph car wreck with pads hitting so hard you audibly hear the pain "ooooooh" from all the other players in practice because they know just how hard that hit was... and then you get up and do it again and again and again until you have left it all on the field or were dragged off on a stretcher.
Whats crazy is hes watching the Version of the NFL where everything DOES NOT SLIDE... for the defense. Offense commits international crimes but defense is left to suffer. Your watching the softest version of our sport. You wanna see the true game? 80s & 90s. 70s if you just want to remember the days no one carred about qbs lmaoo. Early 2000s for a more modern game with old school tendencies. Anything after 2010 is gonna be damn near cupcake league.
1:10 I think what gets lost in the Driver play was I think that was his last season or close to it. He was 35 during this play and that's ancient for his position most of those 49er players were 10 years younger than him.. 1:44 The Heineke play stands out because he was on the street going to school before this game and got called up by Washingtons coach Ron Rivera because he had played with him in seasons past with the Panthers, this was a playoff game and he hadn't been on the field in over a season maybe more, so he was crazy out of shape for this game.. 4:18 The Marion Barber run gets its respect because I've only seen maybe a couple plays like this in my 35 years of being a fan. Barry Sanders, did this on a regular basis, but from a pure power back like Barber, it was not done to THIS extent. Breaking tackles from legends like Junior Seau on this play and Asante Samuel. Marshawn Lynch, whose highlight is in here, did almost something similar vs Denver in '14 SB rematch vs Denver but he got tackled in the endzone (ua-cam.com/video/tI7g_gNV-3w/v-deo.htmlsi=0u9w8SLUO9DrVBhZ&t=645). In this play Barber doesn't. He showed "beast mode", which Lynch made famous in the Saints highlight, 4 years earlier in this play vs New England. And its a term American football fans will use still today, well after Lynch has retired. But this play here was like a prequel movie.. 5:20 I think 4:18 explains this plays significance, it was Lynch's coming out party game, this was vs the SB champ Saints, in this game NO had the better record (11-5), but due to the playoff format, Seattle was the division winner for the West, NO was not the division champ for their own division so by the rules, division champs hosts the game. But few picked Seattle, who was 7-9 a nothing special team, to hang with the SB champs. But they did, and "Beast mode" was born.. 5:43 this is a great and a depressing highlight because this was Barry Sanders scoring in the only playoff game he ever won, this was his 3rd year, we all thought more moments like this would come but it didn't for him. Probably a top 2 or 3 greatest RB of all time and he never got further than this win vs this Dallas team, a year away from their dominant '90's era team. But true Barry Sanders fan won't note runs like this that justify his greatness, its the 1 yard 2 yard runs on the road when his run plays are blown up by the defense, but he breaks the ankles of his opponents All pro safety, jukes their pro bowl linebacker and breaks the tackle of their HoF DT, ALL IN THE SAME PLAY to make what qas a -5 yard loss into a 1 yard gain. Something NO one else has done with the regularity he did since his time. 7:32 pssshhh, theres better Barkley highlights than this.. 8:35 Michael Vick, he came out at a time when the game wasn't ready for his style. If he'd came out a decade later he'd be a Hall of Famer 1st ballot.. 8:45 Look up Ben Watson Champ Bailey. Its a case of a much bigger guy, chasing a much more smaller, faster guy a longer distance.. These are good highlights but a lot of older football gets left out of here.. Earl Campbell runs, Bo Jackson, and NO Deion Sanders highlights?? Defense definetly gets left out of this video.

No shit Sherlock.
Soccer is flat out boring to watch is the point I was trying to make.
@@TrulyUnfortunate and that’s why ⚽️ is the most popular sport right? American football is boring all there is people walking around getting hit and then 5 minutes of commercial, there is no flow to the game. And ofcourse you think REAL football ⚽️ is boring because you don’t understand the sport and you don’t watch proper games. Your probably just see random bs leagues and one off games on your American TV

It's the most popular because dirt poor people can play with no investment.
A pair of cleats is about the only expense if they even have those.
Clearly a Julio Jones fan edited the clip he watched, crazy to only have two Mike Vick plays in a “most athletic plays” compilation including like 8 Falcons games
5:40 the Lynch run that caused the fans to start jumping and screaming so much that it registered as an Earthquake at the UW campus. We coined it, "the beast quake". To this day I think I remember that moment better than almost any other sports moment.
You said it perfectly when you said like a truck. There is a saying in Football that if you get ran over, then "you got trucked!"...
ofc one of the small amount of plays the ravens are DECIMATING the bengals :)))
Most of these small hits and falls would put us normal people on our azz, broken. And the pop right up for the next play. But….the quality of life after nfl isn’t the greatest for a lot of these superhumans. I truly think nfl and nba players could be the greatest athletes on the planet.
It ain't cricket, that's for sure....
My best friend in middle school could dunk and do high box jumps, skinny white boy lol just freak hops, there are just freaks out there
You think they have big legs😭😂🤣💀
Look up "Aaron Jones" he takes big legs to a whole nother level
these players are super human...Brian robinson Jr got shot twice in the leg and came back to play within 8 weeks...
Can't wait for football season again... Americans live for football 🏈 ❤️
Yes we sure do. So how did your favorite team do this past season?
It’s called most athletic nfl plays. Turns into a Julio jones highlight reel. He’s different
You said Julio Jones was lucky, but he has like 5 of those plays just on this compilation.
Where I grew up, in Texas, the guys that were real promising were sent to gymnastics, ballet etc. in addition to two a days.
"Endangering" ha ya that doesn't exist in American football my British friend
React to an NFL "big hits" video. That'll tighten the strings on your coin purse.
In football people only remember highlights and Super Bowl wins.
You should check out the college football entrances and traditions
The one at 9:50 was a celebration. He thought he was all alone. He didn’t realize a defender was that close.
Could have really hurt himself there.
Not much money in high jumps 😂. I would stick to nfl if I can hurdle a grown man too.
You should check out the NHL ( hockey). Another great North American sport
How many of those highlights were Julio Jones, felt like at least 1/4 to 1/3 of them.
We have a more tuned down version of this video. Actually comes with a tampon.
6:55 that's my brother's brother in law. He was playing for the Chiefs and my big brother was playing at the Chicago Bears during this time. And at 9:21 # 47 on the Giants is my cousin Uani Unga 💯🔥🇹🇴
If that’s you in your profile picture then it makes sense you mf Goliath 😂 what was your grand parents eating to make your family so huge lmaooo
Settings>Playback Speed , is how u mess with the speed of the Video.
Great video! I'd love to get your reaction to the NFL's hardest hits.
Can all you tube reactors put the phrase "I'm not gonna lie" to bed now?
I think American football is the best sport to watch and one of the toughest sports.
If you want to see how tough you need to be what's the documentary on Dick Butkus
That’s why soccer should be called faqball and not soccer or football 😂
So many people outside the USA sleep on American football
You learn to jump that high to avoid someone trying to kill you.
9:30 you saying golden tate didnt need to do that, look up golden tate jumps into band
determination, that was on the head. they want it so bad
How many of these channels exist
I have seen alot more athletic video. This is upper but not best.
You keep saying lucky but it's happening to the same guy
🔥🔥🔥💪
Shout out to Dante Hall. We miss you ❤️💛
Can't believe they didn't have that one Minshew td pass on the jags
I’ve probably seen this video 40 different times and watched about 35 different people react to it… It never gets old! Seeing the looks on peoples faces every time they see this stuff for the first time is absolutely priceless!
Don't get whoever makes these reels are obsessed with hurdles.
Keep in mind that the receivers have a type of glue on their gloves
NFL players earn much more than hurdlers.
FYI if no one else said this the ball needs to cross the plane to be a TD.
Season starts September 10, I think.
Pro basketball players may be the most athletic.
These plays are likd 5 6 years old theres so much more to explore
8:46 - I watched that game & that run down score saving tackle of Baker that DK Metcalf pulled off was one of the most incredible displays of speed & athleticism I’ve seen in Pro-Ball ever.
Only tip of ball has to break the plane
quick note, the orange things on the edges of an endzone count as the endzone. if someone can knock one down from the front with football in hand without any part of their body touching the out of bounds area, it's counted as a touchdown
Dude, these are high school plays now
pains me to watch fake forced reactions
This is a julio jones highlight vid 😂😂😂
These are nice... but if you want to see the most athletic plays in NFL history, just look up "Barry Sanders highlights". Everyone said he was undersized, but he was a one man highlight reel, for an otherwise crappy team, (that still managed to reach the playoffs a couple times on his back/legs).
