I loved the wholesalers customer appreciation events. Crab, Lobster, Great artisan sandwiches. Free gift cards, hats, gloves and tools. It's actually insane seeing the stuff you guys leave on over in the usa 😂😂 if we left a boiler with no condesate or a jumped out pressure switch we would end up in court and our gas card taken away

Those are the worse boilers you can have if we see one we throw it out the window
haha i hate working in places with no drain around just a condensate pump, thats why i started adding a drain line with a cap on (of possible) if i do a new install for service purposes later on

on the pressure / temp gauge at 3:24 are the black / red dials the hi low settings?
Non-plumber here, but on those gauges, there are typically two or three needles. On can be manually moved by hand for reference (optional), one is for pressure, and one is for temperature.👍

I believe the use of “either” when you said either side of the gas valve was the wrong use of the word either. Either refers to one or the other. You used both of the plugs. No christmas here, but don’t let it bother you.

That gas meter is no where close to being the proper size, at min you need atleast a 1 mill btuh meter, depending on the boiler size.
and likely none of the piping is sized even close, let along the service line to the building. someone is in for a rude awakening to their bank account, that's for sure. 🤪🤪
@@throttlebottle5906,In my 35 years as a gas fitter / 1st responder for the gas utility in STL, this happens more than you would think; especially after the popularity of tankless water heaters & standby generators. For some reason some contractors forget to tell us about the added load 🤷🏻♂️. And you are correct , they all have one thing in common “ someone has to get out the checkbook”💰.
You should have called the gas company, a no gas/ low pressure is considered to be an emergency.
