As the original owner of the tractor I can attest to the hard work it has done. Vance county, Chatham County, Wake county and other non-hunting sites it has been put to work. It was a Dad's privilege to pass it down to my son. (for a nominal fee). I hope it lasts another 1100 hours or more.

Thank you for passing it on to me at a “nominal fee” aka full trade-in value 😂😂
      Kidding , love you !

What was that you sprayed on it to wash?

The “tire cleaner” setting at the car wash. They did not have the actual engine degreaser setting. But it cut the heavy grease and oil deposits very well.

I'd be afraid to wash a couple of my tractors. I think they'd quit running without all that oil on them. The Ford I have is a 50 hp and man it leaks some oil, but since I changed it over to a 12 volt alternator I've had no issues with it running. It does not have power steering so it can be a beast to work with in the field sometimes. My TAFE is a 35 hp and it runs great. I keep all fluids and filters changed in it regularly. It has power steering, but the seal is leaking and I need to have it changed too. The Kubota is a small 21hp 4wd and it can do a good bit of work around the place. I need to sell them all and get me a good 35hp range 4wd with a front end loader tractor. I have two JD and one Kubota on my watch list in Market Place that fit that criteria. I'm just not willing to come off of the 20K yet.

HA! I have been told that before, same with old guns and tools, if it works, dont mess with it! We tried to get my late Father In Law 1950s 9N running but it was just too much for us and it just didnt have any power. Would overheat at nothing

@@Yellowlab247_OutdoorsAwe that's a shame on the 9N. I had two 8N tractors at one time. I sold them both and bought the TAFE 35. After that I vowed never to have another gas engine tractor. They likely do fine, but a diesel is just a work horse that lasts a long time. Like that Yanmar engine, that engine has been put in a lot of tractors and lasts for years.

I have this tractor and i absolutely hate it. It gets stuck in the smallest ditches, super weak in the pants when it comes to lifting, and now it dies when i try to put it into any gear. Literally just had it serviced too.

Hate to hear that, we’ve had the opposite experience. Tractor has turned a lot of ground and lifted a lot of heavy loads with minimal maintenance. Biggest complaint is the plastic but the power train has been solid. Good luck !
