    I love your vidoes Brother. I've been watching you for a few years now. I've gone back and watched a lot of your older videos, you have came along way!!!! You're a huge inspiration to me as I will be hitting the 2 year mark at the end of this month. My educated guess is that you are going to crochet your dreads together or combine them in some way??? What ever you decide (even if it leads to the big chop) mad support and love.

    If you're dying it, make sure to find a salon that uses Olaplex or just look it up. That's what saved my hair when I didn't want to lose my hair texture/curl pattern, now I'm waiting until my locs are mature to dye it again. Wishing you good luck!

  • @Jmoney5219

    I didn't realized I missed this vid after watching the other one great updates bro. I feel like we should put an asterisk next to the phrase there is nothing that makes your hair grow faster which is true but things like biotin and castor oil as long as it's not straight castor oil because it can clog your hair follicles stunting the growth because it's too heavy it needs to be cut with other oils but those help your hair grow at the rate it's supposed to which makes people think it's growing faster when all actually it's just growing at the rate it should

    Would you ever reattach your old locs/ did you save them? I don't think I could do the undercut looks great on you, but I need that full look and i feel like it would make my sides look to thin. Stay loc'd stay happy bro

    • @lexlansondreadlock
      @lexlansondreadlock  8 років тому

      I would never reattach. I considered it at one point but if ever I were to restart, I would do it from scratch. Just seems weird.

    • @trevonsmith2761

      LOCKING IN how is the free-form route going?

    • @DreadKnight96
      @DreadKnight96 8 років тому

      Lex Lanson its doing good bro i like how i dont need to worry about the no twisting gel no more to cause build up so far the only thing im using is the sponge and brush its doing okay i do see some form of dread twisties in my mid afro i ask knotlocks about it he told me to put the brush and sponge down just go about your life be patient it will come so thats what im doing right now so far i do see some twisty coils in my afro 😁

    • @lexlansondreadlock
      @lexlansondreadlock  8 років тому

      I could see the advantages of free forming. I don't really twist anymore. Just the front rows. The rest I have to rip apart from time to time.

    • @lexlansondreadlock

      Life Masterz it is a possibility. I've seen people dye locs without any negative results.

    • @LifeMasterz
      @LifeMasterz 8 років тому

      Lex Lanson Most likely because they are using a lot more conditioning. But besides that the amount of overall work and precautions will go up as long as you are ready for that. This advice is from research I came across from multiple sources. Also,man I've been trying to contact you about purchasing some of your beats on SoundCloud
