@@themidnightmousedollhouse Sorry another Q. Are you using water color from those bottles for the lips? I want to give my Monst doll a minor face up. I won't dare do the eye cutouts. You are brave!
@japonaliya Thank you for reaching me and don't worry ask everything you would like to know. I'm happy to help ☺ Yes I use liquid watercolors from the bottles. I'm just being fancy as I do have them but you can use solid watercolor. Just thin it down and do a test on your finger nail. If the paint mark on the nail is thin but uniform then you're good to go. Also you can easily wipe it out with water without ruining the faceup. About the eyes, if you have a sharp exacto knife and fine sand paper just do it :D I tried on the doll from the video for the first time and it was impossible to go wrong. Just open little by little do not try to cut big chunks as the vinyl is very thick and you may cut where you really don't want to. Be patient ☺ And maybe just buy a Monst blank head from Aliexpress to try your first cut. I would love to see what you are working on ☺
What size eyes did you use? Thank you in advance!
Thank you for asking :) I used 14 mm with 7 mm pupil. I measured as best as possible and I used a silicon mold to create them.
Nice job.
Are you using water or some medium along with brushing the blush with the pastel? Or just dry crushed pastel?
It's not clear in the video.
Thank you ☺ I am just using dry crushed pastel applied with a fluffy brush. It gives a very soft look.
@@themidnightmousedollhouse Thanks!!
