"hot dang" wow. that brought back a lot of memories. falling in love with your channel, the magic and puzzles. I missed the genuine satisfaction. some videos started to feel like you were just following a formula to make it. this feels like the good ole days. loved this more than you know
Starting at 4:25 you were sooooooo close! We never know when we are solving puzzles how many times we might walk right by the solution, or turn right instead of left. It was fun to watch your path to success.
It's cathartic for you and cathartic for me too. I've been here for years and seeing and hearing you walk through stuff is such a mind opener. Much of I what I do for work requires innovation and I'm totally here for this.
I think I like a mixture of the several types of videos. I loved this laid back, update and solve video. I love your intricate intros bc it shows your creative side. That's also why I love the Area 52 vids. And I love the larger puzzles where you're walking around the puzzle figuring it out. So yes we love seeing your mug too. lol
Right? It depends on the situation really something small like this no real need for a MUG shot but something larger sure go right ahead and show yourself off with the puzzle
Chris! What you doing? I have been following you for at least 5 years and always been captivated by your love of puzzles. The mystery and complexity and enjoyment. I love puzzles and eccentric escape boxes that makes you think outside the box. I can’t afford the amazing puzzles that you get, but I would love to have one of your amazing puzzle boxes that you are so fortunate to solve. Bring back your puzzle solving as I love solving them with you! Love your content and everything that you’re doing!
I honestly love your cinematic intros. But I primarily enjoy your way of story telling. I thoroughly enjoyed this format. I have been missing you and your videos so this was wonderful to catch up with you. I think this very informal way of doing a video is fantastic. It may not be the best for a regular thing (that’s your call) but as a way for you to visit with us and update us on your doings it is fantastic and I truly enjoyed learning what you’ve been up to!
I really enjoy your puzzle videos. No preference to face on/off camera. The passion you show and the love you give to the puzzle creators is the reason I come back time and again!
I love your intros. Your style can totally be a ramble like here. That was kind of awesome. Like we were sitting around a coffee table just hanging out.
This puzzle is one of the reasons I love your channel - the surprise when you solve a puzzle, and the frustration at putting it back together, and the amusement when it just works.
I just watched your Coral Castle video before hopping over for this video and it was so great to learn about Coral Castle and its builder. I’m really enjoying your content on Area 52. I also enjoy watching your puzzle solving videos. They’re very satisfying to watch. I love how you were just tinkering with this one, like playing with a fidget spinner, while giving an update and *poof* solved. 😊 Very relaxed and satisfying. Just keep doing you my friend and making whatever content makes you happy.
These are great. Don’t need to see your face every time. I DO hold out hope that you make a video for Jesse Born’s Rattler’s Tail .. your Lost Vault and Captains Quest vids are some of my favorite things to rewatch on UA-cam.
One of my all-time favorite puzzles because it's so diabolical yet so simple once you know the proper configuration. I first got one nearly 30 years ago and immediately fell in love with it.
I'm honestly just here for the puzzle solving and chill chats, I don't really mind if there's a super swanky intro/outro with an overly stylistic thumbnail or not. This video was actually extremely relaxing and nice so I'm all for you doing more like it
Some of the amazing puzzles you've solved deserve the extra effort you put into the intro for those videos. Its also nice to have a fairly short one like this one sometimes with no intro, a shorter solve time and some interesting chat. Same goes with whether you show your face or not, its nice to see how you're doing but go with what you're feeling when you make the video
to be honest, I like watching you enjoy doing what you do. The relaxed chat and fidget is always time well spent in my books. The documentaries are great and I love the art of your amazing intros, but at the heart of it, watching you enjoy your passions is he key for me.
Bought this a long time ago and have it sitting on my desk at work. Randomly figured it out once (and it was very satisfying), but never was able to do it again. I knew it involved lining up the tongs a certain way...
I find your puzzle videos, especially this format, very meditative and relaxing. ❤❤ I’ve been enjoying reading again. Got really burnt out a couple years ago and stopped altogether. I’ve finished 3 books in the last 2.5 weeks - feels good to be getting back into it again.
Live your life and chase your dreams. It just sucks thinking about finding your channel doing card based videos. The nostalgia watching your old videos blows me away. Wish you the best of luck.
I like seeing your face during story telling because your expressions add to the story, I also really enjoy the in depth intro videos that showcase the items and gives a little visual story about it.
I have this spesific puzzle, it comes under a hundred names with just as many origin stories, I've heard that they were some sort of hooks that a guy had in his garage that got hooked together. and the solution is so satisfying. also they have a realy pleasant weight to them.
honestly, i enjoy your content every time you pop up. you inspired me to start learning coin and card magic. its been so fun and a great way to break the ice and start conversations.
Missed you here man! Glad to see you back, even if it's not regular posting, just good to know you're doing good, and nice to see you here when you can!
I need to catch up with your second channel but i'm so invested in it! These kinds of videos are nice. They feel more personable. However the big flashy intros with the amazing puzzles are what got me interested in your channel.
I love this puzzle! I've had this one since I was a kid. I useto carry it around to show people. Id try to conceal the solve with one fluid move and wow them, then ask them to try. I do like the art of the cinematography when you're introducing the puzzle in some of your older videos. But it doesnt have to hold you up in making the video. The quick intro and chat while solving is nice and gives you something else to think about while watching you solve the puzzle.
Hi, Chris! Thank you for another puzzle video. In response to your questions, I do like this style of video. I also like to see your face from time to time. While I genuinely enjoy hearing you talk, sometimes I like the interaction of simply sitting down and talking with you. Yes, I know. I'm not there in the room with you but having you face the camera gives us the feeling that we're all just hanging out, having a good time, while you update us and work on your puzzle. I hope this helps. Have a great day.
This was one of my first puzzles, along with the nails! I wound up having to look at the solution. Appreciate this video as I miss these puzzles, but loving the new content at Area52. Today's Coral Castle video was great because you didn't just take everything at face value. Keep up the good work!
The intros were always so fun! I like seeing you from time to time, let your creativity free run and do what you like with the puzzling. Sometimes ramble on something you need to get off your chest or what you like/disklike. All is well for me. ;)
I love when you get creative since it seems like you enjoy that so much, but I mostly just enjoy seeing you solve the puzzles and apply your take on them.
The first time I solved one of those entanglement puzzles, I had the exact same result- solved it by accident, my brain froze for a moment trying to process what just happened, and then I spent a few minutes trying to figure out how I did it. To answer your final question, I would love more of this kind of stuff. The chill vibes would be great for starting or ending the day.
The old puzzle solving with the “pheeeeeeeew pchboom” are what I like about this channel. Don’t lose the originality of what you created here. Continue on your other endeavors, but pls for the love of all things holy keep the puzzle channel what is once was.
Simple puzzles and rambling whatever is on your mind is great! Happy to see your mug say goodbye at the end, but kinda dig the jump in and do a simple puzzle. The super expensive/intricate ones are cool as one offs
Glad to see you back! Always love the puzzle videos. Really like the informal ones & stories are great too! I would be up for more but not on a schedule. Love being surprised to get to chill with my favorite puzzle boy. j/k :) And yes we care. ☮
My daughter got me the mini metal puzzle set. This one was included in it. I think it was the one that gave me the most problems, but probably one of my favorite ones that set. Nice to see you back on this channel. But loving the second channel.
I love watching you puzzle videos. I hope you keep it up. It’s relaxing to me and I enjoy your silly acts and your short Videos that goes with what puzzles your gonna do. Hope you’re having an awesome day.
Just listening to free style a puzzle and your thoughts is nice. I enjoy hearing you chill and relaxed and clearing your mind. You should do it once in a while. Grats on the puzzle too.!
I like the laid back format. It reminds me of content from balisong and other skill toy creators chatting with something fun to watch going on. The elaborate intros are cool, but not needed for every piece of content. I'm more of a magic and cardistry enjoy-er than a puzzle enjoy-er, but I wouldn't mind this type of video mixed in periodically. It's your call with your face being in vids; your channel and your autonomy. Thanks for still making stuff Chris
Good to see you Chris! Hope you're well :) Missed these videos, but to be honest I would watch any of the videos you post in part due to the Cinematography 👍
I remember this was specifically one of the metal puzzles my father had, and I tried and tried, and I FOUND, the solution, BUT for some reason the tips of the wire were pointed inward, and it was VERY tough wire, so I wasn't able to actually pull it apart, so I to this day thought I didn't know the solution. But this just showed me that, it was the solution, the puzzle was just deformed slightly to where I couldn't pull them apart at the tips.
Hello there. I love your channel has gotten me through some tough times in life. You’re incredible, I love your puzzle videos. I always watch your earlier puzzles makes me happy. You’re so awesome. 😊
I was watching your fingers finagling with the puzzle and suddenly you solved it. I rewinded it a few times and wow…hot dang! I’m fine for this format, and I am fine with you showing your lovely face. You are awesome! ❤
♥️♥️♥️ I love these type of puzzles! And I really enjoyed hearing the updates on what’s been going on with you while you were messing with it! Headed over to the area 52 now 😺
I started watching your channel again and I was literally working on this puzzle last night (and a couple other wire puzzles). I thought if I can't get this, I could never solve any of the puzzles that Chris Ramsay showcases.
I promise to check out area 52 if you promise to not leave this channel hanging for so long. I personally love the cinematic intros and big puzzles but hey I’ll watch anyway love ya stay happy stay healthy
Definitely missed you Chris! I miss watching you solve puzzles and watching your videos all to do with cards. I'd love to see if you have any new cool card packs in your collection.
I’ll check out your new channel. I know we have to stay busy in life, but we also have to make time to relax and reboot so we can continue working. Love your content!!

But... Unsolved fundamentals are _worth_ revisiting. Solving fundamentals, no matter what youve learned between... Just might be the key you need, in a future room, with no doors or windows.
When I was 12 I was sitting at the doctor's office and while my mom was talking to my doctor he could see I was bored so he gave me this puzzle. He figured it would keep me occupied for a while since he's had it for 4 months. I got it within 2 minutes. I love cast iron disassembly puzzles so gosh dang much. I wish there were more
Chris can solve these wild puzzles I could never even begin to work out. But I do know how to do this one so don’t mind me shouting directions at my screen for the whole video
Thank you for sharing, Chris, this was beautiful! I am totally with you on the whole constant change thing, and you have to pursue whatever makes you happy! I do not follow you there, not my cup of tea, I am sticking here for the hanging out with the spanish magicians in the Mediterranean kinda vibe :) Thank you for all you do, you are a dope entertainer and a great personality!
Love the videos man! Started following back in the day for the magic, stayed for the puzzles and magic! I work at an insurance agency and a customer of mine recently brought me this exact puzzle as he knows I love puzzles! Took me a good long while but I figured it out!
If you keep changing the orientation of the pieces it makes it harder to find the solution. I’d recommend holding one piece in a fixed position and then e the second piece around it. There are two different scrambled positions of that puzzle depending on the orientation of the pieces when it was assembled. I believe there are four different possible paths with only one being correct. Holding one piece steady, you can push the second piece away or towards you, then it can be twisted upward or downward.
However you decide to make your content, be it showing or not showing your face; making an intro or not... I am genuinely very happy every time you upload and whatever you do will always bring a smile to my face. I do my homework with your videos in the background and I am genuinely hyped every time you solve the puzzles. I discovered your channel I think two years ago and I have never left a comment so... Thank you for existing, your videos are amazing and you are amazing. You're doing great, man. Hugs from Chile 🇨🇱
Love your videos, got into card magic because of your early videos. This hit me with hella nostalgia. I had this exact puzzle when I was a kid 25 years ago. Looking forward to the documentary!
Its funny. I haven't been on UA-cam in about a month because ive been so busy. So today i get off work 2 hours early and the first thing I do is see what Chris Ramsey been doing and catch up on some of his videos only to find out He has also been busy and hasn't posted on this channel. Now im going to check out that documentary
I've loved these Chinese puzzles (what I know them as) since I was a young child (4 or 5) and can usually figure them out pretty quickly, I can often almost see the solution before even picking it up but this one also had me stumped for a long time. When I finally got it it felt like a new door opened in my brain, like the solution came from a new direction/dimension :)
oh hi there
wsg ma dude

Oh hello!

Hello there
"I have no idea what the hell just happened" ... I love your honesty, Chis !
That solve while you're talking about frustration was such a dopamine release so well-timed
Love the new channel and it's vibe, but nice to chill here now and then

Watching you finally figure this out after all this time was so satisfying! Your problem-solving skills are on another level, Chris! 👏

I love these little puzzles solves. Its good to hear you just talk stuff through, fancy puzzle or not
I just wanna say it. Chris, your playing cards are some of my favorite. You brought me into Cardistry, taught me most of what I know. Be well!!!
Bought this a long time ago and have it sitting on my desk at work. Randomly figured it out once (and it was very satisfying), but never was able to do it again. I knew it involved lining up the tongs a certain way...

I own this same puzzle... most people can't solve it and are AMAZED when you can seperate them in 2-3 seconds.
I got this for my dad for Christmas years ago and we did it before Christmas dinner was ready.
I own this puzzle, and it's a lot of fun! You're right, it's so satisfying. I love watching you solve puzzles.
I have this spesific puzzle, it comes under a hundred names with just as many origin stories, I've heard that they were some sort of hooks that a guy had in his garage that got hooked together. and the solution is so satisfying. also they have a realy pleasant weight to them.
I like this format, it's like hanging out and catching up. I'm a fan of area 52. Thanks for sharing
No intro or out to for. Like the story telling and seeing your face. Mystery box with lots of steps is my favorite.
So glad to see you here again, have missed these videos, glad you’re good.

I need to catch up with your second channel but i'm so invested in it! These kinds of videos are nice. They feel more personable. However the big flashy intros with the amazing puzzles are what got me interested in your channel.
Absolutely loving the new channel, the content is phenomenal, keep it up Chris!!

Glad you enjoyed the Coral Castle video!
@@ChrisRamsay52 Do you have an adress I can send you a puzzle Chris?
I have made an aztec stainless steel puzzle..

"This is the Lockpicking Lawyer...." style video. I like it! You both are solving stuff, him locks and you puzzles. Fun Video, Thanks!
Already quite entertaining to see the videos you upload. Especially when doing puzzles. Thanks Chris
The old puzzle solving with the “pheeeeeeeew pchboom” are what I like about this channel. Don’t lose the originality of what you created here. Continue on your other endeavors, but pls for the love of all things holy keep the puzzle channel what is once was.
Wow! This metal puzzle was the first puzzle I was given that started my love for things like this.

Honestly, I’m enjoying that every video feels a little bit different - open to anything!
Omg u brought back so many memories. We used to go on field trips to coral castle. I can’t wait to watch your Doc..!!

amazing video chris!! love your puzzle solves and documentary style videos!! production is always incredible in both types😄

Love your videos, got into card magic because of your early videos. This hit me with hella nostalgia. I had this exact puzzle when I was a kid 25 years ago. Looking forward to the documentary!
We have this puzzle laying around at work for years, none of my colleagues can solve it. Now I can show off.
Yay a puzzle! Area52 is awesome. Really enjoying it 😊
I’m happy with the old format of your hands solving puzzles 😊
Its funny. I haven't been on UA-cam in about a month because ive been so busy. So today i get off work 2 hours early and the first thing I do is see what Chris Ramsey been doing and catch up on some of his videos only to find out He has also been busy and hasn't posted on this channel. Now im going to check out that documentary
Your intros are bomb dude. You have a great way of using simple materials (or not) to come up with a great aesthetic.
Appreciate the kind words!
Your reaction to that solve was pure gold
I used to have this puzzle. Was very nice and fun to have, and extremely easy once you figure out the solution.
I like this one maybe its old but its fun. I bought it like week ago and funny thing is that it took me just like 2 minutes to solve it :D
The noise of pure surprise and delight that came out as soon as it came apart 😂 awesome
I bought a bag of these kind of puzzles years ago in thailand and its been a blast solving all of those
