The compressor seems to add a sort of saturation in the tail of the notes, especially chords even when the booster/drive Is off... How does this compressor work with humbuckers then??
It has a Hi-cut feature and a clipping toggle. It's tweakable, you can get very subtle, kinda dark comp thru to squishy Dynacomp tones. It's now a permanent feature on my rehearsal board. I even bought the external footswitch. On my main board, I still roll with a Keeley C4, T-Rex Comp Nova, and an Xotic RC Booster tho. Stacking comps & boosters is great fun. That's how they used to get drive sounds back in the old days, with stacked and/or cranked compression & tape saturation.
That's actually often the level of control that you need before hitting an overdrive. The entire range is usable as a boost. Many "boosts" are much more overdrives pass 10 o clock.
@A Right, and I suppose a lot of the impact is lost in the UA-cam recording. I have an Origin Effects Cali76 compressor for the same purpose. It really brings out the jangle of a Rickenbacker 12 string electric guitar by squashing the dynamic range just a bit. Subtle, but very effective.
Man, your demos are SO HELPFUL!!
Also your playing is tasteful and masterly.
You are both informative and artistically inspiring . Sincere gratitude.
James Taylor "Fire and Rain" ... Simply perfect!!!!
Great playing as always
Bradly McDonald Thanks!
Muy buena demostracion. Felicitaciones.

it looks like a strymon, but also like a keeley katana boost, and the comp could be a keeley compressor too?, it even says "komp", with a K
My Masamune makes a little noise. Is it normal? Maybe I need some noise gate?
What was that high pitch ringing sound in between playing when you first tested the compressor?
Can someone please explain what the external switch does, and what controller I can use with it?
Hahaha no one knows xD
I'm the wind Masa!
Fire & rain!
Sirve para bajo?
Why are you not showing what the external switch does?
The external switches do the same as the on board switches. So nothing to show off.
So strymon kinda clones, this one sounds great... maybe a little too harsh in the komp at high levels
TheMolcridCase NUX is making great stuff

Can i use this pedal in bass guitar? :000 thx
Ofc
is it true bypass or buffered?
What's the difference?
@@sebasoilher8454... One is buffered, and the other is true bypass. I'm here to help
I’m a bit puzzled. The effect is so subtle it’s hardly noticeable. ?
It's designed to be subtle. But if you barely notice the effect, you probably don't need this pedal ;)

It looks too Strymonish.
Mike Hermans is so good he can pluck rubber bands and make them sound like Yngwie Malmsteen.
I will say same but Eric Johnson as the artist
Can use this on My Bass?
Strymon like, but executed better in this case.
