My great friend Steve is on the show. Been friends for 47 years. Great guy! He is the slender guy with the mustache and the Radio Announcer voice!

Steve is such a wholesome guy, I feel so bad that during his younger days people looked at him as weird or different. It’s so good to see society finally accepting others for who they are. Great to see him getting involved with the dating world.
If he was older, he’s be a great match for my mom. An app just for autistic seniors looking for love would be nice. I hope Steve finds his ideal life partner soon.

I’m a single dad of a daughter on the spectrum, and this trailer makes me cry… it is such a wonderful and joyous series and it makes me so happy that we are (finally) making these programs that recognise and celebrate difference. I'm performing a ceremony for a couple that is on the spectrum. It's been really interesting helping them set up the ceremony and getting things Figured out and in place.I've had several friends that Are on the spectrum/Asperger's when I went to school and it's really came along way since the late 70s.
Blessings to you and your family! This series touched me so deeply. Untested, I don't know if I or others in my family are on the spectrum, but I relate more to these people than most of the world. What the lady said about Ariel being unable to speak felt so true to me. This was needed. Good people living the best way they know how.

There is so much we could all learn from this show. Being genuine. Being honest. Being yourself. Accepting those awkward moments. I don't think I have ever wanted someone to find love as much as I want all of them to find it. Everyone deserves it. Even the most misanthropic of us deserve it. Loneliness can destroy the most beautiful souls(much respect for Steve for still having such genuine hope and having such a kind soul).

Same thing I 5old my husband. If us "neroutypical" people could just be accepting and welcoming we can learn so much from these awesome people about honesty, integrity, kindness and being present when the magic of life is unfolding around us.
As someone with Asbergers I can’t tell you how nice this made me feel. I feel so incredible alone all the time, I’d be happy to talk to any of these people let alone date them. So many amazing perspectives. It made me feel less alone just seeing them exist. Love love love

@@loveinthematrix I am sure you thought about this but are there Asperger groups you could join with meetups? I grew up in a cult and sometimes its nice to talk to former members since no one else can really relate to that part of me.

As a 30 year old on the spectrum with zero dating experience, this show really helped me with self esteem and begin dating! It is so heart warming seeing everyone step out like that!

@@MrUssy101 I loved the Undateables but it was a different production company. It had people with physical, mental and learning disabilities, whereas Love on the Spectrum focuses on people on the autism spectrum.
I am so excited that Kaelynn is a part of this show! She has worked so hard to overcome so much! When she was first diagnosed years ago, the future looked very bleak for her. Today she is living on her own, working as a beloved therapist for ASD children, changing lives and hoping one day to find a special person to share hers with! Wishing all good things to her and all the participants of this new season of Love on the Spectrum! ❤️
She was my favorite and I feel I present myself to the world the same as she does. I would have googled questions to ask on a second date and overanalyzed each suggestion. Like her, I probably would have gotten the least screen time and not gotten a second date either. I am happy she is doing well and hope for the best for her and all on the show.

@@PlayActiv A lot of guys, especially guys on the spectrum, don't want kids. I don't want kids. However, I'm also taken. That being said, I wish Kaelynn the best of luck :)
@@PlayActiv now-a-days, many people, men and women on and off the spectrum do not want kids. Either by preference or due to it just not being feasible. The cost of living is extremely high for one person, so having an extra person or more to be responsible for plus all the added costs children bring (childcare, diapers, etc.) seems so overwhelming for many people. Also, independence is desired more in younger generations than in the past. There are many other factors, but it is a fact that people are having children at a lower and slower rate than previous generations.
@@sn6328 very true. And there are so many other reasons. I am over 40 and did not want to have children because, personally, I find life to be very cruel, scary, and exhausting, and so I don't want to make children that will have to deal with all of this. On top of this reason, which is enough on its own, I have injuries from a car accident where it would be very difficult to carry and give birth to a child. And then I always seen to be tired because I have to work so much, so I feel like I wouldn't have energy to take care of them. And then there's the expense, as you mentioned. I'm hoping to retire before 50, and if I had a child that would be more difficult.
I just watched the series and I cried numerous times. Not from sadness. It is so very touching. And seeing the parents so overjoyed and proud melted my heart.

Steve is so wholesome and just radiates such positive energy! He alwaaaays has something nice to say about everything. I cried watching him and his BFF when they both told each other how much they mean to one another. Also, killer, killer dad jokes! We must protect Steve at all costs lol
I'm binge watching this show and I can't stop smiling.. then suddenly I get tears. This series is so amazing I had never seen some point of view of people with autism and I'm glad I got a little glimpse.

Just started watching this on Netflix. I can't be the only one who watched James' introduction with all his conversation pieces wanting to know more about each one. He is genuinely interesting and I am excited to see where this show takes him.
I am not sure who thought of this show concept, but it is humbling and eye-opening to witness people look for love in the purest form! Everyone should watch this show ❣️
This was originally created by the ABC broadcast network in Australia. It’s all about one thing, exploitation of autistic people like myself, who are often highly gullible, for ratings.
Idk i dont think we should put austism love in a pedestal either... they are flawed humans who can be selfish, materialistic and shallow like the rest of us.

Hi there my name is Daniel I’m 52 and I have a disability. I been encouraged from watching these episodes because I too been wanting a woman in my life I can relate to. This is so awesome that the disability community is being recognized and yes for someone with disabilities it’s hard to find someone who will love and accept you unconditionally.
This is just entertainment made right. Shares empathy, love, and restores my faith in human kind. Such a big fan from 2019, so glad they keep doing this ♥

I’m a 30 year old guy, and I teared up when I watched Abbey and David’s first date. It was the most genuine thing I’ve ever seen. Definitely a great couple.
I just found out this show won a Emmy. It deserves it. The more people know about autism. The better it makes it for autistic people.
It's not easy to get hired. Interviews aren't easy. Making friends. Fitting in with others.
But autistic people are unique. Interesting. Intelligent people. Autistic people can do so much.
Why be alone? Autistic people are people too.
I know because I'm one of them.
So make a second US version. I'll watch it. I'm sure others will too.

I tear up every time I watch this trailer. My wife and I recently watched this show, and it touched us profoundly and deeply. We laughed, we cried, and we rooted hard for each of these amazing people. I truly wish the best for each and every one of them.
Ok I’ll watch this, looks like the production staff is handling this with care, I refuse to watch certain programs because they exploit the people and turn it into a freak show

@@ashliwells1418 I disagree that the show didn't have anyone with high functioning autism. Steve and the girl who lives with her best friend seem very high functioning. I believe this show could help spread awareness about autism in a positive light by showing everyone is different, even people on the spectrum, but the things we all have in common is the need for love and happiness.
@@ashliwells1418 So you essentially want your family to be represented? This show literally has people living away from their parents, on their own and one that has their own business, along with some that need more care from others. How is that not a spectrum? Don't forget, it's a show. People wouldn't want to watch a person with asd that appears to be neurotypical go on a date (we all know what that looks like) and it would not offer a glimpse into this divers diagnosis.
I absolutely loved this series. All of the people were just so sweet, genuine, and kind. Such innocence on the dates. I laughed and cried watching them. I hope that they all find love, happiness and continued good health. Wishing you all the best!!
Already loved the first two seasons and it seems that they worked on a better matching process because all of those couples look like they could work.
I would be friends with any one of these people on this show! They are so kind and whole hearted.. My favorite part was when James dropped the F bomb when he found his wallet!!!

Phew. We really live in a beautiful world with these extraordinary people in it. We laughed and cried as we were allowed on a beautiful journey with them. The interaction between James and his father was so entertaining and had us in stitches. My dad used to treat me the same way before I went on a date. Pretty amazing to see how much information Kaelynn was processing, you can just see her thinking. A must watch!

This show is so inocent and beautiful. It shows exactly how we look totally diferent. They dont see appeareance. I cried and laughed many times imagining my boy adult. He is 7 today and I wish he find a love in the futuro also❤.

As a person who writes heavy metal music about war and overthrowing authority, I honestly just teared up a bit watching this.
The Indian guy Suboh has deeper issues than being on the spectrum, he has a issue with his own culture and that’s so sad that he keeps saying he doesn’t want a India girl, who’s teaching him that type of self hatred. He also seems like he’s a bit of a chauvinist too. The way he talks to his mom is also of the mindset that she’s beneath him. He is being taught bad things as a man that I see in the India culture too often!
Solomon is a great guy and Dani parents need to help her to more humble about her career and education, I know she’s on the spectrum but that’s not a good spirit to have a superior mindset.
Steve is so great, I pray he finds someone, he is a great man.
Abbey is precious and I want to have a great guy!

I think Dani don't think of herself a superior to anyone, she is a very ambitious woman and she wants someone with the same success and ambition as her so that they will be compatible and have a good relationship. So in my opinion she doesn't need to humble herself but instead come to terms with the fact that it will be very hard for her to find a person that will check every box on her list and she might therefor need to have a more open mind. That being said, I understand where you are coming from and I respect your opinion.

Also, equating someone worth and Intelligence to having a college education because you do is also a superior thought process!
