Of the living country singers, Ms. Leona Belle Williams is, almost undoubtedly, the most overlooked and under-rated. Only Lacy comes close, and even she is better known.
Getting to met Ms Leona in person when she visited our area was one of the highlights of my life. She is one of the sweetest, down-to-earth and most gracious ladies you will find. Her talent is amazing.
This is a great song and I can see the lyrics being so very true, married to Merle.....I remember reading once that Merle asked her when he first heard the song: "Do you really feel that way?" She said: "Yes, Merle, but you never listened when I told you that many times"....he said: "Well, I'm listening now and I want to record that song."

Leona this was awesome! I love the stories you told. Being the youngest of 8 children I can relate to the things you learn and hear from siblings. While it’s been a pretty hectic day at work today I decided to take a break and listen to a few songs. You made me smile and l was literally laughing out loud at these stories.
