My great uncle John McNair lived in 40 Laidlaw Street around 1910. This video has been a great find. Many thanks to Bill for preserving this history. I hope the wee man is still with us.
Hi Burnbrae, unfortunately like many of the old raws inhabitants Bill died a few years ago but I enjoy sharing his video and reading the comments which seem to spark so many memories. He would have loved that.

The Delaneys rings a bell. We had dinner with Louie Delaney in Uddingston. Many years ago. A fun night.
