2 ghz supports upto 40mbps speed, so if your plan is 40mbps then even if you go to 5ghz you will still get 40mpsx speed in both 2 and 5ghz ....so for plans below 40mbps it doesn't matter whether it 5ghz kr 2ghz speed will be same
Stop your nonsense. Even if my plan is 100mbps, 2.5ghz only gives about 20mbps but 5ghz reaches full 100mbps. That's the difference between theory and practical.

The GHz was on wifi routers host or in mobile hotspot not in your wifi menu from where you can connect WiFi. There is only showing that WiFi host was on which GHz. And if your device support 5 GHz wifi router host Then you can connect and enjoy 🙂🙂

I need internet with good speed for normal personal use and work from home purpose, range is not 1st priority as I work on same desk. I will invest in dual band then... 300 mbps router is only good for 30bbps plan and not above, is it true? What should be the plan sufficient for me and how much router mbps should i buy in dual band? I only use one laptop at a time and a mobile, thats it. Thank you tons for advice.
Actually if you use only 1-2 device and has 30 mbps speed then single band router is also enough still there might be some fluctuation in speed.. go get a dual band router and it will be more than enough and if you only use internet for browsing, entertainment etc then 30 mbps is enough i think…
