- Just a brief discussion of how AI cannot really write your papers for you and nor should it be asked to do so.
Postcolonial Space: Dr. Masood Raja
Since I claim to be a postcolonialism scholar, I think it is apt to include a brief description of my field of study. In my view, Postcolonialism ( also written as Post Colonialism or Post-Colonialism) is a dynamic field of literary study that focuses on the history of colonialism and native responses to the colonial policies and life after colonialism formally ends. The field of postcolonialism also offers insights into the literature and culture of the the former European colonies and their struggles after the end of colonialism.

Thank you, Dr. Raja. I agree with you. I think an academic paper or even a nonacademic one is the product of the way we frame, structure, and process a problem or issue. Writing is our own unique mind in motion with all of its insights and critical thinking. How can one go through this process by delegating it to AI? I suppose it's ok to look at a proposed paper, but yes, writing a paper is an exercise requiring research, judgment, insight, and even creativity. I've often changed my direction while writing a paper because I have learned while in the process.
Thank you. Yes, that’s what I think as well because it takes away our ability to write and then, maybe, go in a different direction based on more thoughts or research.
Thank you so much for this sir. I will remember this presentation when advising my students as well.
You are welcome.
Thanks Dr sb

Very good video!
Thank you very much!
Are Universities not developing rules and ethics on the limits of AI use in course work? Is it not the equivalence of plagiarism?
Thank you. Yes, they are but people still think they can get away with it.
My university is, but since it is not directly quoting from a source it is harder to verify if something is written by an AI system or not
@@elian1606 Thank you. Even before this AI craze, it was hard to prove when students bought papers online.
Isn’t it diff to track AI in home assignments?
Thank you. It is difficult but colleges are making detection programs available to teachers.
