- 2018 starts with candlepin action from a place that was not to be visited quite yet (due to Wamesit's long wait times), we went to Academy Lanes in Haverhill, Massachusetts, to ruin the reputation of another fine establishment. How? By simply bowling here.
This is also the first time EVER going from Tenpin to Candlepin. I like to go the other way, as larger and heavier bowling balls tend to produce lobbing issues for a moment.
How will things go? This will be a new transition!

About time you went to that place. Yes, it does suck there.
The middle lanes are tough, almost like Mason's from what I heard.
I've seen Candlepin New-Gen from last year, and it looked like this side has easy action, and it actually was easy.
SPOILER: The Tenpin effects go away, and things do get a bit better.
I bowled where you bowl on the video and it was crap...
Maybe it wasn't maintained at your time. That stuff happens. Even "The Palace" can be tough, if Dave doesn't do his bi-weekly plate cleaning.
Could be. I bowled in a league there last year, then went back to my old stomping grounds: Place Place Lanes, in which I'm bowling with a couple of famous bowlers right now.
Park Place, you meant? That place is super-easy, although I didn't do too well there. :)
115 high for me last time I still don't know how but I hit the pins hard enough to get one past the sweep!
That pin plate has quite a slant to the right.
No, it's the cockeyed camera causing the pins to roll to the right. :D
glow in the dark helps me a little bit. all alleys should have an odd colored pin.
Odd pins are for contests, usually league-related.
I WENT THERE A FEW DAYS AGO
Can i bowl with you i live right down the street im on the kids league
I don't do meetups with minors, UNLESS a parent/guardian is present at all times.
This is common practice on UA-cam.
PS: If you're talking Academy, I'm WAY far from there.
Im 16 and yeah my parent will be with me
