  • Today we take a look at a piece of gear that I have been testing for several months on and off duty and that is the Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Holster. A Level 3 duty rated holster with the need for speed, it's bar none the fastest duty rig out there. This this even smokes a Safariland ALS with a Nub Mod. #prepared #alwaysprepared #edc #shtf #everydaycarry #beprepared #dutyholster #rapidforce #aliengear #quickdraw #saywhen #teotwawki #lawenforcement #tactical #tacticalshooter #holster #warbelt #pistolbelt #handguntraining

You won't regret it. I've run duty holsters from the Blackhawk T series epoch level 2 and 3 safariland, g code, Dara and this Rapid Force just smokes them all

Alien Gear is putting out some good stuff. I just wish they would support the TLR 8 that I run. When /if things go south I want as much in my favor as possible.

I'm not a fan of lasers as they have really severe parallax issues if you're not at tour zero distance. To each tjier own but they just aren't a tool I want in my toolbox but like I say I won't be at your gunfight

What do you think of their new swivel drop leg? I'm not sure if i want to go that route just because there are more moving parts and potentially more failure points. This video solidified my choice, and I commend you ❤

    Hello,
I am a retired law enforcement officer and have been using the Alien Gear since March 2024. I find it to be an excellent product with great retention and fast speed. The add-ons are also very useful.
I had a question about the Taq Strap setup on my low ride holster. I was unsure if I had it on correctly, as the Alien Gear commercials do not clearly show how Randy has it set up. After seeing your tan rig, I believe I have it on correctly. I also have the dynamic drop leg and am looking to purchase a few more disconnect mounts.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
    Best regards,
    Greg

need to buy a range \ battle belt (First one ever) what do you recommend? I am a big guy 6'3 300lbs wouldn't mind having the a type that is light but is rated to hold via D Ring. "Not Helicopter lol but I was thinking about fall protection" anything above 6' in California requires to wear fall protection

Been using this system for the last 2 years (Gen 2 and Gen 3) with the Tac. strap. I prefer the Gen 2 a lil better than the Gen 3 as the Gen 2 has an adjustment to remove the gun holster rattle. If the Gen 3 had the same system to remove the rattle, then it would be perfect, in my opinion.

I originally bought one of the first rapid force duty holsters and loved it and used the heck out of it then I put an acro p2 on it so the holster no longer worked and me being a smart person tried to modify my holster to make it work and ended up breaking it so I got a safriland amd by far prefer the alien gear over the safriland and now that I see they got a model that will work with the acro p2 I am going to order one now

Rather fond of mine. I own 3.
    2 for 320’s and 1 gen 3 Glock fitment using a staccato.
The staccato P does fit but some modification may be required. Only works with the x300 on a staccato.
Fits all kinds of lights on a Glock.
I mod QLS forks to work with the AD duty holsters and use a Tru North mount..
I think their triangle mount is 💩

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213  14 днів тому

I've had nonissue with the QD from Alien Gear In fact I've been drug across the floor by my holster nonissue and have seen guys do pull ups off rhe mechanism also zero issue. I've never broken a qls either but the fact that neither have failed tells me it'd more than durable enough and a nonissue

    • @PnP-td1mt
      @PnP-td1mt 14 днів тому

      I’ll agree to disagree..
in part because I already have a dozen other holsters with QLS forks.
The stacking of their quick lock on other mounts creates a scenario where the pistol sticks out pretty far from your hip. Getting into a vehicle sucks. Even when using their mount. Their mount had an angle molded into it already.
Adding their adapter to say a Safariland then adding their quick lock to their mount the gun hangs WAY out there..
to get the gun closer to the body you’ll need something like the tru north mount. Even then the stack up of adapters causes the holster to stick out further than just adapting a QLS to the AG holster..
With this stacking of adapters we have ran into issues with the triangle “male” portion staying flat. Bowing the adapter making it difficult to remove from the “female” side..
my issues aren’t with it failing..

      @@redleg1360 not really.
I don't see anything wrong with the leather. It held up to fl weather just fine.
And going in with k9 into our swamps and it working. Is one hell of a test.
Hunting in our swamps is a hell of a test. The holster i use for my blackhalk has worked for over 20 years. And it was treated a lot worse than any of my duty holsters ever were.
I have never once saw a little Rock get into a working part on a leather holster to hang it up.
I have with a plastic one.
And there well known trainers on yt that have talked about that problem to.
And BTW people still use flintlock to hunt with every year. Guess what? They still work to.

@tbjtbj4786 you're referring to a Blackhawk serpa with those issues, not Alien Gear or Safariland no instructors like the serpa. Leather wears and causes dangerous issues. I've seen it it my leather holsters in other people's holsters it's a fact of life it's a natural product that requires user maintenance to keep it in top condition and even then they still break down. All leathwr does( made my bones as a leathersmith) if it lasted forever there would've never been a need for me to make new fenders for people
