I bought a 1988 to part out but my son likes it and I think it has nice lines so we are going to get it together. The engine is one half of the one on the Ninja 900R so you can look to rebuild from those. Many of the body parts are similar to or the same as those on the Vulcan 500/750 that replaced this bike.
I don't know and also didn't know they weren't stock. I ordered the stock handle bars off eBay because I see now that he removed the tacometer to make these crazy handlebars fit. I'm swapping the handlebars today and will let you know if I see any markings

Yeah. There is no after market support or community around this bike. eBay is flush with OEM replacement though
