I think the committee got it right. Just look at the NFL. Sometimes you have shitty division winners with terrible records make it over a team that is in a really good division but gets squeezed out. Those teams don’t deserve to get in the playoff but they do. I know it’s not exactly apples to apples, but sometimes the teams that should make it don’t. We don’t always see the best 12 NFL teams in the playoff IMO.
I love how you say Texas couldn’t run the ball all year. They ran for 173.5 per game and that’s without a running QB. Thats 46 in the country so I wouldn’t exactly say they haven’t run the ball all year. And btw LSU was #102 in the country in rushing offense with 121.5 yards per game. So LSU running all over Clemson next year won’t exactly be a given
Georgia didn't get punished for losing the SEC championship game. Other teams got rewarded. 2 teams were undefeated, Texas won the Big12 and Bama beat Georgia. Georgia didn't deserve to be in over the 4 that got in.
