Wow. Beautiful sunrise! Such a great way to start the day/year!! 🙏🙌 When it comes to being creative, I feel like theres such a broad spectrum of what I enjoy doing/want to develop/learning new skills, that the main thing I struggle with is knowing what to focus my time on and what I’m actually good/skilled/gifted at! It’s fun creating things for other people but, because I want to ensure it’s the best that it can be, I seem to add that pressure of ‘perfection’ which steals some of the enjoyment of the process as I get concerned about the outcome! I’m very much still learning but I have personally found that developing gifts for the glory of God comes through both practice and prayer! Preparing with prayer and prioritising time for the practicing (so many p’s 😆). I find starting is often the hardest part!! One of the most helpful things I have learnt about creativity/using creative gifts is learning to joyfully do it for God and not worry about or be focussed on what other people think. Obviously it’s great to use creative gifts to bless others and when people encourage or value what you’ve done and give constructive feedback but it’s not everything! God sees the heart! If you’re able to, I’d love to hear/see some more creative ways in which people are lovingly reaching out to those around them who are not part of the church and also Christians who have taken a creative hobby/skill into a freelance job! (maybe some Q&A’s?) Thanks for taking the time to share and make this video! Such a wonderful, inspiring vision to have! Praying it ripples out...
Great video, Personally I do feel that God has made us creative been a creative God Himself. And, that if we push ourself, we can glorify His name through our gifts . I would love to see more videos on that topic, and how to use all the tools we have to express our creativity or discover new abilities we didn't know we had.

This is such a blessing. Love that theme/mission! I'm so glad I found your channel (through Dedachi Kenta). I'm always encouraged to find other artists who are passionate for Christ! It both inspires me and reminds me of where to place my focus. I've recently taken a step back from things to really evaluate where I am and where I want to go, and more importantly, praying for guidance and direction and seeking God's will. Whatever he wants me to do will be far greater than the little things I want to do. I definitely want to grow in prayer this year as well. I'll keep an eye on your channel for sure!
(I am new to the channel, still learning what it's all about.) I needed this SO much today! It's horribly cold where I am, pipes are frozen, sick for days, no sleep for 3 days dealing with it all, no work/income - I've been overwhelmed and exhausted. I so desperately need to get my perspective back on Jesus and eternal things. It's so hard when life is falling apart around you. It's not like you can just ignore problems. You must deal with them. But I need and want His perspective!

The first part of this video was so intense and deep. I'm still trying to find my way back to God, and this words can be really helpfuk. I think sometimes I find my prayers are always the same, that I always tell God the same things so much of the time if find it like it is doing anything. Back in the years I used to really feel a connection with him and I would literally talk to him all my thoughts and feelings. Now I have been trying to grow my prayers and as you said really understand the magnitude of it and I think looking at prayer that way could definetly help me and other people to put attention and time on prayer. So I encourage you to keep doing this type of videos that are really needed for some of us and we can share in order to bring people close to God. I truly bless the work you are doing and thank God for the opportunity of coming across your music and having that blessing in my life. Just to remind you that what you do, brings so much blessings to so many people.

Hi Set Sail! I'm someone who loves filmmaking (and also creating music). As a suggestion, I'd love to see videos which explore behind the scenes/ tutorials on Christian filmmaking (promo vids, music videos, short films etc.), and also explorations of how filmmakers can make artistic content which has the primary purpose of glorifying God, encouraging Christians and sharing the good news. I love the channel and am excited to see how God uses this ministry for his glory.

They're lots of creative pieces of literature from artists and poets that need some time to chew and digest but otherwise could be very edifying to people if they would be patient. An idea I had for my channel is to break down the songs/poems that people make into bite-size chunks! I have a poem I want to get started on. I'll have a video ready by march! I really liked that idea!
It would be great to use creativity to share the gospel in unreached places. There are ethnic groups where talking about Jesus is a penalty, but Art can be a way to lead those people to Him. Henna and paintings come to my mind. God bless your ministry!

Honestly, I have a ton of decisions to make right now about where I live and what job I should take and it is honestly really easy to make a plan of my own accord without actually stopping and listening to what the Lord is saying. Great video! I love the direction you are going! Also, a focus on a better prayer life is an excellent focus for the new year. My focus this year is on Joy in The Lord and in his salvation. I tend to overwhelm myself with all that I want to do and accomplish that it takes my eyes off the simplicity of knowing and loving him and recognizing his love and joy in my own life. So, that's my focus this year...JOY!😀

Great start to the year! On a practical side I would like to hear your tips for how to record stuff for UA-cam for those on a budget. Personally I want to use a good quality audio recording of some poetry to go alongside a "presentation" of the words. Good to have the challenge about prayer too.

Love this! I came across rivers and robots music awhile ago, but then I came across your music again on UA-cam and I absolute love it and I'm so glad I found this channel too! I'm currently a student in a graphic design/photography program and I love creating stuff, but I also love working with my church and I always struggle with what am I supposed to be doing with my life or with a career? Am I supposed to follow a typical work path? Or do something that's more related to the church? I think it's so cool that you combine creativity and worship together. It feels like our culture has separated those things from each other, and it's totally a gift from God so why not use that gift for something for him? Also I have been recently learning more about prayer and trying to become better at that as well... anyways thanks for all of your content! I enjoy checking it out and I can't wait to see where God will lead you next! :)
