Chocolate notes are one of my favorite in perfumery! Some fragrances i like are Montale chocolate greedy, oriflame love potion which is a boozy chocolate as it has rum and vanilla in it, angel for men pure tonka and mat chocolate by masaki matsushima. There is a limited edition range mugler brought out back in 2011 called the taste of fragrance that are incredibly hard to find but the angel they created for it was enriched with cocoa powder so it smelled more chocolatey than patchouli, i would love to smell it and the bottle is stunning as well!.
You forgot to add Orchidee Vanille by VC&A (dark chocolate) ;) My fav chocolate/cacao perfumes for Winter are Montale Chocolate Greedy, CSP Amour de Cacao , HdP 1969, Bond No9 So New York, PG Musc Maori, Lush I'm home & Boss The Scent Private Accord. Coromandel & Mancera Choco Violette are on my wishlist :)

I never liked Angel. Too messy smelling to me. Too much going on in it. I wonder if u have ever smelled Habanita by Molinard. ? It goes all the way back to the 1920's. 🤗
Its even better if you layer it with a simple plain vanilla 😍 I use it with Alyssa Ashley vanilla. That combo smells like the discontinued neonatura from Yves Rocher.

My bottle of Covet looks identical to yours. Strangely enough I like to layer a spritz of Angel Muse on top of it to bring out the chocolate note more. I agree, it's not a safe blind buy but extremely unique. I don't love the opening as much as the drydown.

Hi Love, do you have a recommendation for a good coffee fragrance? All the Black Opiums don’t work for me- they literally smell like an over sweetened spilt latte. Also, their longevity is not the greatest. The only one from the range I like is Black Opium Intense- the coffee is devoid of that tacky latte sweetness but it fades quite quickly and there is only a mediocre scent of vanilla left behind. I also tried the D&B The Only One but tbh the coffee was nonexistent on my skin and all I could smell was the caramel (strange caramel actually for it was both sharp, overpowering and powdery). Montale’s Café Intense is dominated by rose and oud. A beautiful scent, but it isn’t a mainly coffee scent, as some would describe it.
Hi Gosia! Kyse makes a some beautiful coffee fragrances. Some people complain about the longevity and some people say they last great for them. I layered with their body cream and they lasted great for me. She makes true coffee fragrances though. Definitely check her website out and check out Fumee Vanille. I hope that helps! ❤️
I think it’s funny La Vie es Belle is considered to be a gourmand fragrance. I know at least one of the flankers is a gourmand, but the original doesn’t smell sweet at all to my nose.
You always cheer me up. I have been buying a lot of fragrances lately and I enjoy it when I get them and writing the notes in a notebook and later read my notes and think about the creator of the perfumes. I am waiting for seven fragrances in the coming week.
