I took my children to Disneyland in Florida im based uk. They were happy for about the first day then they were overwhelmed and hated the heat,crowds and noise. kourtney is really right here. my relationship with my kids and their willingness to be 100% open with me came when i made a point to talk to them with respect and love as i would any adult. Now my kids are 18 and 13 and tell me absolutely everything. i mean to the point i wish at times my daughter kept some things to herself 😂😂😂 like omg i really did not need to know that girl. 😂 no but fr i’d never change it. even my daughters and sons friends come to me with things they say they could never tell their mom and ask advice. i personally had such a horrible example of parents that i had no idea how to parent properly but i knew exactly what not to do. kourtney is really right here. my relationship with my kids and their willingness to be 100% open with me came when i made a point to talk to them with respect and love as i would any adult. Now my kids are 18 and 13 and tell me absolutely everything. i mean to the point i wish at times my daughter kept some things to herself 😂😂😂 like omg i really did not need to know that girl. 😂 no but fr i’d never change it. even my daughters and sons friends come to me with things they say they could never tell their mom and ask advice. i personally had such a horrible example of parents that i had no idea how to parent properly but i knew exactly what not to do. And thank god i figured it out. I went with my gut and did what i wanted so desperately from my own parents. I never scream n yell or use any physical form of punishment. everything is explained in depth. nothing is “because i said so”. literally just treat them w/ respect like you treat adults.
