Great video Mark. Personally I just have my brakes done by the experts because it is covered by my warranty all the way till the end of my note. Even oil changes are covered. Also, I drive so little that I can't keep a battery working. The last two batteries went bad from lack of use. I hope our country can endure the election because I fear a lot of unrest no matter who wins the election. Maybe worse. Dan has his own views, and I have no idea what they are. We don't discuss politics.
Mark, GREAT video! I watched several videos on how to do brakes before doing the job on my 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 and this was by far the best guide. Thank you for filming at a pace that was easy to follow, and for going into detail on all of the work that you did. Also, thank you for noting what torque the bolts needed to be tightened to. Again, GREAT video. Next time my truck needs some work done, I will look to your videos as a guide! 🔧🔩💪💯
Grease the iron behind the hardware. not the hardware where your pads are. The grease on the top of the stainless anti rust hardware will attract and trap dirt and dust and then bind causing brakes to stick and wear faster.

I was thinking about getting these rotors. How are they holding up for you?
Yeah how they holding up?
the grease is there to prevent rust from jacking the hardware into the pads causing lockup

Don't drive through puddles with your really hot rotors they will warp.
