They deleted the original comment the commentator made and mine. He has no right to add BS to God’s Name. How can you not see that? Because respect for God is not important to many. How would Judah like it if people used BS when mentioning his name? Disrespecting God’s Name is wrong and unnecessary to make a point. And bashing believers who pray differently is unkind. He said “You get up early!” With a rude attitude. Unnecessary most people who do so or invite others to are well intended. The commentator understood the point. Judah’s rude tone is unnecessary. God doesn’t call for it. He should have wisdom and a loving tone. Why should anyone get angry at a person who wants God’s Name respected? People get offended when they disrespect their mother.

I don’t see what’s so wrong with promoting discipline. I’m pretty sure discipline is a biblical value. Also, love and discipline are inseparable. If you love someone, you will be disciplined in your relationship with that person. For example, I exercise discipline in my relationship with my wife because I love her. How much more should we exercise discipline in our relationship with God, especially if we claim to love him? One last thought: do we really need to tell this generation to be less disciplined in their relationship with God? It’s not like the average Christian is too disciplined. Judah Smith is a gifted speaker but his content is off when you stop to think about it.
I hear you brother however he is speaking to christians who is having a hard time with disciplines like prayer or Bible reading. Shall we exclude these people out of the Kingdom for lack of it. He is promoting pragmatism cause we can give up on our relationship with God just because we are not in our best shape or form.

Jesus comes back on the horse and THE FATHER is on the Great Throne. Judah...Jesus is the Son...Jehovah is the Father. Jesus is not the Father. Good freaking grief man. Come on!!!!!!
We as humans are flawed and prone to make mistakes so I get it pastors are human and can make mistakes. Unfortunately many mega church pastors are not making simple mistakes but completely losing the respect for God trying to please people by diluting the true gospel and twisting sound doctrine. Grace is unmerited favor but it does require the true believer to walk in the “fear of the Lord” which is a healthy respect for him. To preach that solemnity and fear of God is no longer necessary is false teaching. To take the liberty to make fun of believers who invoke all three holy names of God to end a prayer instead of only using the name of Jesus as the Bible instructs and to then label it as religious BS is just pure BLASPHEMY even if the intentions behind it are good.
It’s sad but many mega church pastors when they see themselves with so much power, money and fame lose their vision. Nothing is sacred to them anymore, with the exception of money. I’m not against prosperity, Abraham was a righteous man and wealthy but his wealth DID NOT come from selling the word of God. If pastors want to become millionaires they should work outside of the church to earn their millions preaching and writing about the Bible shouldn’t be their source of financial wealth it’s not right. These pastors who minister to the “stars” tend to compromise the true gospel to please their famous friends. They want the rich and famous to see them as cool badass ministers, if we are to please God the world will never see us as such. We don’t need their approval. The church is called to represent God not pricey name brands and what the world considers to be acceptable. If you are a preacher and are feeling tempted by the world ask for help or just step down but don’t embarrass the true church. God can restore the fallen ministers and those who are following the same path but they need to humble themselves. We all need to go back to the scriptures and follow God’s teaching not man’s version of the gospel
Btw the world would benefit so much if Hillsong church and those other churches who think alike were to permanently close their doors. Those type of hipster culture churches are unfortunately only after the money not all the leaders are corrupt but many after a while of being surrounded by that type of worldly version of the gospel end up compromising the true faith and doctrine. Hillsong is not a true representative of the Gospel it’s sad but it’s a money making machine for the top leaders. May God have mercy on us and may we all repent bc those type of churches are just bringing embarrassment to the ones who are for God’s word. I’m saying this in love and concern not to tear down anyone.
I think judah was trying to say that u don’t have to pray in a certain way before God, bc He’s our father... just like u don’t have to be robots before ur parents u don’t have to act for show before God, He wants all of you and your heart rather than a performance. It is only when we let go of ourselves and flashy prayers, the attention shifts from us to God, and we get a sense of His love, grace and presence and awe (fear of God). How is that against the gospel?

I’m not here to promote hate and judgment but the name of God is to be honored by the ministers. No need to used profanity while quoting the name of God to bring a point across even if it’s done with good intentions.
Pharisees need to be called out, but Jesus never did rebuke them using profanity.
Unfortunately I attended Hillsong church for some years and some of the pastors made blasphemous jokes while teaching the word. It’s so disrespectful and they need to be called out when they go that far, I just don’t want Judah Smith to follow their bad example that’s all.
