Seriously though, if you want a "unique" background for your hackneyed show #82842 at least find something half-way plausible. Make the mother be a working photographer who takes her young yet curious kid with her, to the dismay of her husband who is in the military and can't afford to travell.

One parent thinks the child is over the top and the other thinks they are just imaginative. Something tragic will happen that forces everyone to see just how precious life is.

When I was about 5 years old, I had a dream that my real parents were Japanese, like Kimonos and paper houses kind of stuff, I'm Italian, Polish, Irish, and Bohemian Gypsy. So, in no way, shape, or form did I look Japanese. In the dream, my "fake" parents had kidnapped me, and my real parents were searching for me. I know, sounds like a silly thing that my mom and dad could laugh about. Except I was so convinced of this, that for about a year after, whenever we were out in public, I would go up to strangers and say, "This isn't my mom. She kidnapped me. I need to find my real parents." Needless to say, this led to some very awkward, and intense situations. She said she cringed every time we saw a cop in public. Then one day I just stopped, so she asked me, and I acted like I had no idea what she was talking about. I swear, the shit we do as kids. Smdh.
