    All these internet tough guys saying his kicks are useless or innacurate because most of them dont land. Most punches in mma dont land, so are the fighters 'inaccurate' or 'useless'?? No its just at that level these fighters are good at dodging and blocking attacks, obviously theres gonna be alot of missing.

      Not to mention that sometimes he sees how they react specially that he has crazy stamina so in every round he will throw in different kind of kicks depending on how you react. Just watch his K. I love all these people saying just go in for takedown and he's finished. Yeah that strategy may work on a pure TKD guy or a pure boxer, but Yair is a MMA fighter with a base in TKD, he knows how to defend against takedowns, he knows how to set up kicks, if a takedown was all you needed to become a elite fighter, then any old wrestler, football player, or rugby player would be world champion.

  • @combatarts152

    Maybe this is finally a fighter that knows how to use kicks. I think most fighters don't use them as much just because they are hard to train to use well and be effective. But when someone does train to use them properly, they are devastating.

    Those kicks are what get him in trouble with higher skilled fighters... they’re fast, but not fast enough to do as often as he does them. Korean Zombie had that last fight, but Yair LUCKILY landed that elbow when trying to break away last minute.
    He’s good and the kicks are dope, but he needs to use them more sparingly.

    DONT STAND THERE AND WATCH!
    The reverse heel kick, any spinning kick, takes time to arrive.
    But theyre all just standing there, feet planted when they actually have a window to either move or get horizontal & take the planted knee out.
    Good coaches will spot this - this is a big hole in his technique, despite how fancy it looks.

      That said, my cousin's English is pretty good and he's still a teenager. And it sounds really natural because he watches ungodly amounts of UA-cam. He uses all the same slang Americans do and it makes it seem really natural despite the couple of technical shortcomings. And he's never left Mexico, so it's far from impossible.

    well, those kicks seems "useless" or "not accurate"...I bet if one of them hits you're going to sleep well...and if they don't hit you clear, they'll fucking tired you

    • @DvitusR
      @DvitusR 7 років тому

      When youre fighting against top level fighters who know how to dodge and weave, kicks end up looking inaccurate, its like expecting every punch ever thrown in mma to hit or else the fighter is "not accurate"

    • @mallic8366
      @mallic8366 6 років тому

      yeah but no where near as tired as the guy getting hit with the kick, in taekwondo kicks are the main focus so to them throwing kicks are like throwing a punch except a lot more powerful
