Bronte’s smile is contagious… it’s great how you guys don’t seem to take anything too seriously. Cheers 🍻🍻🍻
Nice to see some drone footage of Nora Creina, great spot. Had a family shack there for 35 years from when I was a kid, spent every summer there.
Guys, what an awesome vid- you keep giving more each episode. As a 60 yr old ready to enter the next phase of my life, I can honestly say you both inspire me with how you approach life and this way of living, being so respectful in the way you drive on tracks and care for the environment as well as how some of your food is caught and eaten! 10/10 - stay safe and keep enjoying this fabulous country!
Means a lot thanks mate! Definitely get out there and enjoy it!
Beautiful cinematography, really inspiring to see you both explore SA, my home. I don't usually comment but here, great work!
I never comment on UA-cam videos but I’m making an exception for you guys! Bloody rippa channel with great camera work and awesome adventures. Really enjoying you two skallywags!
Safe travels and big gday from Port Lincoln South Oz.
i am in love with wrightys root
Lots of people miss that area when travelling. Glad you seen it. It’s better when it’s hot. SC is still good.

Alex its a must that you bleed salmon immediately. They taste so much better.
Love following your trip guys. Really makes me wish I could take a year off, ship my 80 from NZ to Oz and do the lap
Lovin ya trip, different content and places.
The salmon, bleed them straight away, I make Thai fish cakes out of them using master foods Thai seasoning, potato etc. Come up a real treat.
Cheers

Bronte, Let your imagination rule your taste and side dishes. 👍
Cheers Stevo
good job guys !!
Cheers Macka !
I reckon they taste better when you do 👍
Go Gordon 😅. U 2 r brilliant. Awesome editing
Thanks rob !
Good for sashimi!
As soon as you catch a salmon, bleed it and fillet it quickly and onto ice. I like salmon.
You need to get yourself a sand flag 😎
Sure do saves using the horn 😂
Awesome episode! Really enjoying following you guys around. We caught heaps of salmon in Tassie with the Halco 40g twisty. Chrome seemed to work best for sure. Try putting the fillets in flour then egg and finally panko crumb. Then just shallow fry in rice bran oil. Put this in a wrap with avocado and a basic salsa (tomato and coriander) Delicious!!
Hey Luke trusty 40g gets the job done! We did that with the other fillet was so good !
Fillet then cut salmon side ways (aka butterflied skin on) nice and thick. Flour, milk, flour, fry in hot oil then salt n pepper and some lemon = done. Bad cooks usually overcook salmon then complain they are a dry fish. Don’t overcook. 😊
Well done on taking the discarded fishing line, one of my pet hates.👍
Ours too try to keeep it as clean as we can !
oo im excited already !
congrats on catching a nice salmon ! looks like a good size for dinner for u 2
cool 4wding and drone footage!!
wow cool luck u guys getting to go out on old mates boat with him ! lol about ur licence plate name from him lol
heaps cool video lots of dunes ! what a spectacular location ! good on u guys !
With the salmon trout you can bleed them on the spot, or soak the fillets in a little bit of milk to draw the blood out later. Either way it improves the taste. I personally love them. Firm flesh and strong flavour. Great with rice and a garlic white sauce. They'll go after soft plastics, but they love pilchard and squid too. Circle hooks get the job done. The direction you're heading you'll start seeing king george whiting and trevali too. Tight lines.
Thanks mate ! I find they taste real nice in a curry 😊
@@wrightysroot I never thought to use them in a curry before. Consider that on my todo list now :)
Taylor cooked fresh is killa, people don't know what they are missing out on.
We agree so good !
Hi Alex, Try soaking ur salmon in milk for an hr or 2 before cooking, amazing the difference in flavour it makes!
Will do!
Didn’t bleed the salmon!!!
what brand n model tyres do you guys run?
Hey how do your reckon towing a small tinny through the 4wd tracks would go ?
Are you guys still out there?
Beachport is an awesome place, what is ur rod n reel set up? Looks good
