    Does anyone know how to set up a random fact generator on stream elements?

      If you had an API that can spit out random facts you could use this same technique.

    hey can u help me find like a cat fact command?

    • @Phlare
      @Phlare  2 місяці тому

      If we could find or make a cat facts API that returns text only, It could just be used in the same way here. so far all the active APIs that i can find return a JSON object, so i could do it in streamer bot, but not in streamelements... maybe nightbot, but i'd have to check.

    whats the difference between nightbot and stream elements? is one better than the other?

    • @Phlare
      @Phlare  Місяць тому

      Depends what you’re looking for. Nightbot is a straightforward chatbot and can do all the typical commands well, as well as some automoderation and giveaway type stuff.
      Streamelements and Streamlabs both add all sorts of visual and audio elements that you can add to your overlays as well as having pretty robust chatbots.
      Then there are the more powerful but somewhat more complex bots like SAMMI or MixItUp or my favorite, streamer.bot
      These can do almost anything you can imagine, but require you to put all the moving parts together yourself.

      @Subzerd can’t hurt! Most popular is streamelements by far, but they all have their merits
