Valentina is easy to me. You need to know all ults to use Valentina effectively but when you do then you can easy abuse enemy ults to destroy them and with fast dashes escape in any situation.

If you have to save it solely to save yourself, then get this, you probably picked the wrong hero for the match. Plus his s2 makes him one of the most survivable mages in case of ganks. If all of the above fails, take winter truncheon and sprint. Anyway, I digress. Just wanted to say, he is definitely easier to play than zhask. You just need to understand drafting and not pick him when it's clear that the opponents line up are full of dashing heroes.
Julian, Bane, Harley or Kimmy also have the role mage, and they forget "real" mages too, like Nana, Gord, Chang'e, Alice, Pharsa, Vale, Cecilion, Lylia, Novaria, Cyclops and Aurora...

Selena main here, and just for everyone's info Sele must be on the expert spot. It's the prediction, advance aiming, good slashing combo that makes her difficult to use. Also calculation of damage before rushing into the target.

Place your 1st skill properly and just get better at landing skill shots. It's really easy. I think you don't play either Kagura or Lunox. The only reason I think Kagura is op is because of her 2nd skill that will help you basically 'purify' the cc. Yet, she is still harder than Selena. I can literally play Selena in my sleep bruh.
Fair, but her playstyle without teammate mainly just to poke enemy from far away while keeping her distance. Its been a while since i last use yve, but at that time, she's very weak in the early. This make her rely even more on her ally. Her core item help to poke enemy tho. But as you said, the ult could rarely be used without teammate
Yves ulti needs perfect timing, u have to wait till ur roamer (best one is probably tigreal for this) stuns, then slow them down with ur ult then spam her. With yve, id say patience is key. U can also use ur ulti to kill low hp enemies that ate quite far since her ult stuns at the border

Luo yu is very tricky because she’s that hero that doesnt seem to do anything when you don’t know how to play her properly but once you understand her kit, it’s definitely so easy to get wins with her.

Lylia must be in Insane. With Lylia you have to be creating a safe path with which you can return after entering the battle front, knowing where the enemy is going to move to hit them correctly with the AOE, and calculating the damage perfectly to use the ulti and return safely. And if you add the tactic of counting skills to avoid CC rolled by the enemy and teammates, and being aware of the map, it becomes worst.

Nahh didn't need much time to master as a franko former player it was easy for me to predict enemy movement . Yes it's difficult sometimes when enemy assasian marks you but with slowing effect and movement speed boost after ult plus 2nd skill passive , it's rly easy to dodge enemy

As a Luo-yi user I can confirm hard to learn how to combat yin and yiang also teleportation which is the main for luo yi is difficult to control first you have to pro in it then you can control 😊 In late game Luo-yi is gone very dangerous as a mage 😎🔥

Here why kagura is harder: Kagura has this many combo: Normal combo: 1-3-1-2-3 The pro normal combo: 1-3-2-3-1 If chasing low hp's: 2-3-1-2-3 With F/flicker : 2-3-F-1-2-3 The hook combo : 1-3-1-F-2-3 *And more*... Lonux now needs to press the skill one time to activate 1 of the ult instantly.
I strongly agree with Lunox's difficulty, lots of player can't control her perfectly. Especially with the passive that you have to make use and very wisely for your advantage.
I use lunox sometimes, and honestly she isn't really that hard. All you need to know is when to use the chaos or order thing. With Lunox, you just need to spam and then balance light and dark forms or something like that ..

I'm a Vexana main. Glad someone else acknowledge that she isn't hard to use in general. A friend of mine is having difficulty using her, but oddly great with Selena. I guess it depends on the users. But in general, Selena is commonly known as hard to use, but can be REALLY hard to deal with once someone mastered her.
My thought is that because your friend excels in high mobility heroes like Selena. Vexana is considered hard ti use because she lacks mobility and her only means of escape is her CC.
For new players yes but it's not that easy when people know how Kadita works. She can get counter pretty easy. She's my main mage and it forces me to get creative. Also if you miss your ult your an easy target with how slow she is.

As a Luo-yi user I can confirm hard to learn how to combat yin and yiang also teleportation which is the main for luo yi is difficult to control first you have to pro in it then you can control 😊
In late game Luo-yi is gone very dangerous as a mage 😎🔥

Kagura is much harder, she has a hook combo that even pro Kagura main like mine having a hard time doing it.

Kagura is easy to get good combos, for me Lunox is very hard to execute and get kills without dying

Kagura is much harder literally no damage in early while lonux can kill using dark ult and escape using white ult, even kagura's ult both yen & yang are both damage but can't Burst a hero in early she needs a battle spell execution or flame shot to secure a kill or teammates assist.
Here why kagura is harder:
Kagura has this many combo:
Normal combo: 1-3-1-2-3
The pro normal combo: 1-3-2-3-1
If chasing low hp's: 2-3-1-2-3
With F/flicker : 2-3-F-1-2-3
The hook combo : 1-3-1-F-2-3

Lonux now needs to press the skill one time to activate 1 of the ult instantly.
I strongly agree with Lunox's difficulty, lots of player can't control her perfectly. Especially with the passive that you have to make use and very wisely for your advantage.

I use lunox sometimes, and honestly she isn't really that hard. All you need to know is when to use the chaos or order thing. With Lunox, you just need to spam and then balance light and dark forms or something like that ..

I'm a Vexana main. Glad someone else acknowledge that she isn't hard to use in general. A friend of mine is having difficulty using her, but oddly great with Selena. I guess it depends on the users. But in general, Selena is commonly known as hard to use, but can be REALLY hard to deal with once someone mastered her.
My thought is that because your friend excels in high mobility heroes like Selena. Vexana is considered hard ti use because she lacks mobility and her only means of escape is her CC.

For new players yes but it's not that easy when people know how Kadita works. She can get counter pretty easy. She's my main mage and it forces me to get creative. Also if you miss your ult your an easy target with how slow she is.

Pretty sure zhask is normal/hard, since his 2nd skill is hard to aim and most people dont know when or where to use his ult and where to position most of the time, and most of his skills has a long load up time. Also the n e r f

Most people uses ulti wrong when they skills are done they go the enemy when they are in bug but thats a mistake because you have chance the die i leave the bug and teleport the bug to near them when you leave the bug you will have so much range to teleport to bug

That's not a hero issue but a player skill issue, people Aim Beatrix's sniper Ult, and Selena 2nd skill, people play heroes like Lolita and Akai, knowing when and where to use skills is a player skill thing and not a hero exclusive issue
