What about card for 8k recording , do you think just sd v90 card is good enough for that kind of using?

It’s on the way from B&H for my Nikon Z6ii, you think it’s overkill’s? I went to far ? The reason I got it is I’m almost 100% sure about the sustain speed information they provide ,also try to hold your information as stable reason to buy the card.

The sustained speed on this card is correct. It does the job they promise. I think the better bet is the SE for this camera. I replied to your other comment just now. If you look at it from a speed wise it is overkill. I think size is not enough though if you are shooting video. This is based on your workflow though. For me, I see it more beneficial for someone to have a 512GB card like the SE for the CFExpress slot and then 2 of the UHS-II cards (prograde and wait for a sale) to back up to. Again, if you are only doing photos you will be happy with this card, even at the highest settings it looks like the average image size is 24MB per photo. So it should be plenty of space for like 5-7 thousand photos unless I did my math wrong.

Interesting but I am very skeptical about what this manufacturer is claiming as their minimum sustained write speeds. Angelbird's AV PRO XT MK 2 card offers a minimum sustained write speed of 1480 MB/s. According to their own website, the Z9 pumps out 1200 MB/s at full burst of compressed RAW's at 20 FPS. Therefor, theoretically the camera should not be able to ever outrun this card's write speed, but in many tests done we can see it obviously can. As the camera's write speed is lower than the specified minimum write speed of this card the Z9's buffer should be limitless and keep shooting at 20 FPS till the card is full. But it doesn't Care to explain why this is not the case?
