The term 'disbandment song' is mostly used as a form of expression refering to a group's last release before their disbandment. People are not saying that 'POW' was their goodbye song, they simply mean that this is the last song we got before Chebul ended and it will be now remembered as their final title. There are very few groups that actually release a 'disbandment song' where they can actually say goodbye to their fans. The only girl groups that come to my mind are IOI and Lunarsolar, almost every other group disbanded without releasing anything.

I saw a bunch of CB fans worrying about this on Twitter because it wasn’t going to be a cute concept like Love So Sweet or Love In Space. But after seeing Weeekly’s success with Ven Para, I was hopeful that this had potential to be a hit for CB! And this didn’t disappoint! I absolutely love how it’s a palatable experience like a softened version of Hands Up! You still get that experimental structure without reliance on an existing song for the base of the production. And the shifting in tone throughout gives a similar feel to iconic KPop songs like Girls’ Generation’s I Got A Boy and Aespa’s Next Level! This was so amazing and I hope that more people get to listen to it! Also, can we talk about how hard the pre-chorus goes in? I was blown away!

Please, it's not even in the same neighborhood. Hands Up is the best CB song in existence and the only one that comes close (as far as title tracks go) is Q&A. The thing that disappoints me the most is how CB still looks and sounds like a low-budget rookie group even after all this time. Heck, they looked more like veterans during their DEBUT than they do now, for crying out loud! FNC is not doing them any favors and they need to step it up, big time.

May in the center for the first chorus was incredible. They really took advantage of her height and proportions. Bora and her big eyes looked adorable. Jiwon looking elegant and mature as always. I got into Cherry Bullet from their time on GP999 and I'm glad they're making a comeback.

Okay so I am actually a Music Major and I just analyzed this song and think its interesting how it uses Mode Mixture by switching back and forth from the C Phrygian Scale in the verses and then to give some contrast to the Chorus section, they used the C Major Scale, its very cool. I have seen Mode Mixture used in other K-Pop songs but I have not ever seen the Phrygian scale used in a K-Pop song. Props to whoever produced this because it is a very well written song and also the members of Cherry Bullet also performed it very well. I also enjoyed Bora's rapping and I have never seen her rap before so that was very cool. I think that this is actually Chaerin's era because she stood out to me the most in this MV. What an amazing comeback!!! (sorry for such a lengthy comment lol).

For example Major Mode is called “Ionian” and Minor Mode is called “Aeolian.” “Phrygian” Mode is actually just a modified minor scale. To make it a Phrygian you just lower the second scale degree by one half step (by that I mean the second note of the scale). And “mode mixture” is when you mix different scales together and use one in one phrase and then switch to another one. This is not the same as a “modulation” (which means a key change) because that would mean that you are changing tonal centers, rather than scales. So Cherry Bullet’s song Play on the World uses C Major Scale and C Phrygian and alternates between the two throughout the song. That’s what I meant by mode mixture. May in the center for the first chorus was incredible. They really took advantage of her height and proportions. Bora and her big eyes looked adorable. Jiwon looking elegant and mature as always. I got into Cherry Bullet from their time on GP999 and I'm glad they're making a comeback.

Okay so I am actually a Music Major and I just analyzed this song and think its interesting how it uses Mode Mixture by switching back and forth from the C Phrygian Scale in the verses and then to give some contrast to the Chorus section, they used the C Major Scale, its very cool. I have seen Mode Mixture used in other K-Pop songs but I have not ever seen the Phrygian scale used in a K-Pop song. Props to whoever produced this because it is a very well written song and also the members of Cherry Bullet also performed it very well. I also enjoyed Bora's rapping and I have never seen her rap before so that was very cool. I think that this is actually Chaerin's era because she stood out to me the most in this MV. What an amazing comeback!!! (sorry for such a lengthy comment lol).

@@soccerjl8 I can explain it better for you. In music, a mode is just a fancy way of talking about different types of scales. For example Major Mode is called “Ionian” and Minor Mode is called “Aeolian.” “Phrygian” Mode is actually just a modified minor scale. To make it a Phrygian you just lower the second scale degree by one half step (by that I mean the second note of the scale). And “mode mixture” is when you mix different scales together and use one in one phrase and then switch to another one. This is not the same as a “modulation” (which means a key change) because that would mean that you are changing tonal centers, rather than scales. So Cherry Bullet’s song Play on the World uses C Major Scale and C Phrygian and alternates between the two throughout the song. That’s what I meant by mode mixture. I hope that answers your questions lol.
