Problem is, it doesn't have a global rom. there was this Huawei mediapad m6 8.4 which was released on 2019 with a flagship specs but it's really hard to get one now (in my country, ph. don't know about others). It's still has google support but it only has a 60hz refresh rate. I hope samsung would make a premium midranger mini tablet, preferably with Snapdragon chips (SD 6 would be acceptable, SD 7, would be appreciated, SD 8 would be a stretch for a midranger.)

Very disappointed they didn't add fingerprint unlock. I miss that so much on my A8, Face unlock is flakey, and typing in a code or doing a pattern gets annoying really quick. I chose, against my better judgement, to not have it locked because of this.

Would rather take the M9 at half the price, as it has almost the same resolution, weight, display size, and feel. The updates and stronger processor make it worth the money, but I cannot justify the price tag for such a resolution nearing 2024. M9 or iPad Mini for me
Good choice, got myself one as well after using the tab a10 for a while. If you feel like you can't write super uniformly (aka the words are thick and thin and can't get it to look good) I recommend the spen-tips from Lamy (the hard round ones, it's a huge difference. It also works super with a brotect matte screen protectro. And if you write alot, the Lamy-emr (it's just like the spen with the button) pen works great on the tab s6lite.@@editorialteam9855
you need the A9+, they don't have the A9 in USA. I'm not 100% sure about any of this though so you would need to check. A9+ will also have an 11" screen, it is much bigger.

I am so disappointed that the recent A7, A8, and A9 do not have a full HD display. The model A9+ is full HD; however, it is not a compact 8" tablet !! Looking back, the Galaxy Tab A with S Pen in 2019 was superior to all of these models.

In this respect, the Active 5 would be better, but it’s bulky and only has one speaker (the smaller screen wouldn’t bother me if the device were smaller too). The iPad Mini has better performance, but it’s wider, and the 5G version is 3.5 times more expensive - I’m not willing to pay that much for a 60 Hz display. Ideally, something like the A9 with a 120 Hz display would be great. Even the current processor wouldn’t be an issue because I wouldn’t need it for intensive use, just average tasks. It’s a tough decision; maybe I’ll wait in case something new comes out, but unfortunately, I don’t believe there’ll be a new device anytime soon 😞😞😞
@t181 The Active 5 is not that much bulk if you remove the bulk case, the one that holds the pen. I think I'll go for the Mini 7. It doesn't check all the boxes, but until a really nice android shows up, I guess it will be the better one for me at this moment, and I need it with cellular.
So we get a bit of an upbump on the specs, starting on Android 13, and losing the power brick compared to the A7 Lite (is Android 13 the last update on the A7 Lite?), considering those 2 tablets are the runts of the litter in Samsung eyes but even in that state they run cycles around almost all the budget tablets on the 8-9 inch scale if price is not an issue. And the A9 + takes the place of the A7 and A8
tab a7 lite will end with android 13 since it is a budget tablet. Also, the charging brick is not that big deal since both charges at 15w, but in fact the tab A9 is 2.7x better in terms of performance compared to A7 lite

No, i don't usually use my tablets outdoors. Even my flagship phones struggle if its too sunny outside.
