    I admire your sophisticated and sleek sense of style, and you sure know your way around oversized blazers. Any tips for us petites who might feel swamped by all that material and out to there shoulder pads?

      Oh thank you so much :) for a petite frame I would suggest going down a size than your normal in an oversized blazer. Also instead of pairing a matching oversize suit with trainers I would opt for slimmer fitting trousers on the bottom half, or heels instead with a wider leg and can always try belting for adding shape to not feel lost in all the material! X

    I was feeling insecure about how I’d look in an oversized blazer, after watching this video I feel more sure of myself, I loved all the outfits 😻

      Oh amazing thank you so much! If it is a new style you aren't used to it may feel strange at first, I know I did. But now I am the opposite and feel strange in anything more fitted! Xx

    I've been looking for a way to upgrade an outfit around jeans, full length, cropped, etc., I always end up looking the same, if you have any ideas, I would love to see them! I loved every look you showed with the blazers!!

      @@charlottebuttrick yes! Some of us looks deff the best in neutrals(typical our colors, skin, eyes, hair)
      Others just disappear without strong colors and patterns. We are the lucky ones😅.

    Another one for my UA-cam styling file folder 2022👍🏻 This is amazing; the co ordination & colour choices, the colour layering top to bottom, the harlequin shoes - there’s so much to take & copy from this video. Thank you again hardly; your UA-cam ideas make my wardrobe so much easier. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️

      oh thank you so much penny, that is what I love to hear! You don’t need to own a lot of clothes, just need to have colours that can be mixed and matched. So glad this was helpful x

      Thank you so much :) I feel if you haven’t tried them before they take some getting used to (if you’re used to a tailored blazer) but if you’re anything like me you’ll fall in love with them and then be the opposite and feel strange wearing a fitted blazer!

      Thank you so so much Jeannine - this is the kindest message! I can definitely do a part two :) I now also have the Reona blazer in a lighter hue. Are there any occasions in particular to include outfits for? X

      @@charlottebuttrick Thank you so so much for your reply~~~ On my occasion, I now remote-working mostly at co-working spaces or some beautiful cafe shops, sometimes I'll meet some cool new people and just decide to go out for a dinner or a drink after work. So I would love to grab some inspiration from such elegant and effortlessly chic style of yours💕Like from morning office coffee to evening casual drinks...👀?
      Also, my hair color is darker so all black would make me look a bit serious & bored 😅 It would be really helpful if you can do a part two video about lighter hue outfits :))

    To get away with this trend, you need a slim figure and to be minimum 5'8". It's just not flattering on most women, and the most important element of style is fit anyway. Just ride out the trend or you will regret wasting money. It only ever looked good on models walking around Paris.

    • @charlottebuttrick

      I think it’s also personal preference and what you feel comfortable in. For some people that is fitted for others (like me) it is relaxed and oversized. There are plenty of petite influencers - like All Chloe Rose / and Chloe Jade Story who are petite that look amazing styling their oversize and Frankie Shop blazers. I think of petite you look better with the sleeves rolled up and have to think more about balancing proportions x

      They are exactly the same when it comes to the cut and fit. What differs is The Frankie shop is a much thinner material. Personally I prefer the RE ONA blazers as they have more structure and I prefer the more weighty, thicker fabric. But if lived in a hotter climate and wanted a blazer you can wear the Frankie shop is good for this xx

    • @SueRosalie
      @SueRosalie Рік тому +1

      yes, it's completely unwearable if you are petite or if you are larger, and so many women are going to regret these purchases in another year or two. One of the most important elements of style, is fit! It's even more important than colour.
