Agree 100 %. Actually I reckon Wayne is the greatest rugby coach in the entire world. One of the greatest All Black first fives as well. He has created history that will probably never be repeated.
I know that you have deserved a well - earned retirement, Wayne to spend more leisure time with family - but until someone of your calibre emerges again - it would be magic if you could be available as adviser from time to time. I love your strategy of putting it on the players to play the style of game THEY want rather than TELLING them. Turns out that they play the style that you love yourself - simply because you have put scenarios to them about each opponent - eg How do we deal with rush defences....How can we score tries without "out to the wing" cycles....How can we score from set pieces using elements of surprise.......How can we create different positional formations keep opposition guessing.....and so on.
Yes, Sir Wayne, you are a legend in your own lifetime. Congratulations on your mighty achievements.

As winger, I loved the way the insides were always looking for a way to unleash their outsides. The player I most would have wanted to play outside was Stacey. Thanks Prof, you gave these players a license to play.

Compared to Hansen and Foster, even his speaking style, his enthusiasm and non-cliche words are noticeable.

NO your not Done Wayne Smith, you have too much influence on a rugby field and please maintain contact with the BEST WOMENS RUGBY UNION TEAM on this PLANET. It will be difficult to forget what you have given to all the Black Ferns in many ways - no different with Alan Bunting who also gave much to The All Black 7's in his 10 years as their coach.from a great grandmother who loves our wahine sports persons, kia tino mihi ki akoe.

That's why the Black Ferns are the world champions again for the fifth (5th) time, is Wayne Smith who the girls have named the PROFESSOR of Rugby. Renowned in Aotearoa, NZ & in the international arena as one of the greatest coaches in the world. Not only a great coach he also a great rugby All Black. With all his wealth of all his Rugby knowledge he's gained in his playing courier & coaching he helped the BF's win the 2022 world cup for the 5th time. Well done Professor & the BF's. WOMENS WORLD RUGBY CHAMPIONS 2022.

I think he was lucky E glands top player was sent off at beginning of the game, so NZ only had 14 to play against but! they still played well I thought the NZ forwards were outstanding.

nah your wrong they weren't lucky england is a fully pro team way ahead of nz in the last couple of years they may of had 14 players but played like they had 15 so nz had to play better rugby u can see when nz was down to 14 england didnt score plus half of nzs trys were from the fowards so no luck

so the black ferns had a bad year, they changed their head coach and won the world cup, the all blacks had a bad year, kept their head coach and will lose the world cup

Talk about a team that kept to the game plan they were relentess and I often wondered what he heck were they doing trying to run out from their own goal or within their own 22 most of the time. The Professor just told us why.
