- Slightly different format of video compared to what I have previously done so hope you enjoy it.
Working back to front here is Task 3 of the British Paragliding Championships 2022 in Grand Bornand. We had unfavourable weather most of the day and it wasn't until around 3 o'clock the cloud started to clear off the hill. Race start was late at 16:45 but we still managed a nice 36km task to end the competition.

Nice video and voice over. Video never seems to give justice to how close everyone is while the gaggle is thermalling. Or maybe that’s just my nerves making me feel like we are even closer than we are as I’ve only started sprint league XC, only had maybe 3 opportunities of gaggle flying so far, I’m sure it gets easier with experience.
One question:
How do you win this competition? Is is first one who lands or someother fundamentals that they judge?

Awesome video dude and well done in the comp! What do you think of the camera and the editing workflow?
I re framed in the insta app and then pulled into premiere. I didnt actually intend to do full "vlog" of this comp just to test camera. I was suposed to have thr mic adaptor but it didnt arrive in time annoyingly. I have it now and it works really well. With my rhode lav mic audio is much better. The re framing part is actually pretty quick in the insta app
Did you use the GoPro plugin for premiere? Or did you just export an MP4 that you pulled into premiere? I cannot get premiere to work with that plugin. Not matter what I try to do it freezes. Just curious to see if you have more mileage from it...

@@Hix066 sometimes i use the gopro plugin. It works ok, but much faster in the insta software ive found. I reframed it in the insta software and export in 4k at 100mbps using h265
@@LawrieNoctor ahh ok. I'll try that route. I stupidly thought that getting a legit Premiere sub would mean that all bugs would be solved. Maybe not....
