Without a shred doubt, Hon. Bryan Acheampong holds a political position, but to be fair enough his business ventures should be recognized and celebrated. It's so clear that Okudzeto objections stem from enviness and nothing more. Very baseless accusations. He should raise the bar.
Do you understand what conflict of interest means?? That's why you declare your assets when you are been given a position... The problems isn't him buying it, but if it happens, they will use to state to sell properties cheaply far below the prices they are supposed to be sold for...

Hon Okudjeto is fond of destroying people reputation before going to appropriate quarters. He has always lost the case when he was put before the law. Hon Quashiga case is an example and that of KPMG and SML deals.

Do you think a minister buying state property is sensationalism? With people like you, no wonder politicians are walking over us. It's our own money, workers money for goodness sake. In regard to the Kumasi matter you can see from Mr Ablakwa's arguments that he lacks experience in the real world. If you're selling your house, you get it evaluated and you get a price, but does not mean you will get that price when it comes to the actual sale.
As a Valuer myself, I understand that the valued property may not equate market value. However, here is the case where a sector minister has bought not just one, but several properties from a govt agency. The least he could have done was to pay the valued price. This is pure corruption and the reason Ghana is where it is today. Shameful

@@staliionasamoah8740 your vindictive and envious evil that has been planted in you guys by a vindictive JJ Rawlings is the reason why this country lacks any big and prosperous indigenous business. We can tolerate foreigners who do business in Ghana and take all the profits away than for an indigenous business man to thrive. Such medieval thinking can only happen in Ghana.
Please is a joy news now court room or what, I don't understand why Bryan Achampong is disturbing his self
Wow... This man said he has over 1000 staff and he has 500 plus on SSNIT eiiiiiiiiii between the start to the 8 min of this video... Pay attention
The brazing audacity this guy Bryan Acheampong has is truly hard to listen to.
It high time somebody sued Snnit! And I think it will happen
Which court, Ghana here ? Forget it SNNIT will win
are u not somebody, you too can do the sue
Sammy is very funny
so so arrogance nkoaaa
I think this time around MR Ablakwa got it wrong.
Do you guys think through your anus at all?
A very poor program. No need for 'frontal attacks' by okudzeto and Achampong.
I hope Sammy goes back to get a meaning of NEGOTIATION
Ghana is done.
You are not helping Sammy you should help yourself please
Politicians, greedy and selfish
They don't think about any of the citizens except their children and themselves
Pathetic
Whatever a man shall sow, so they shall reap
The Makola women can even do better than what our Greedy politicians are doing
It's a shame 😢😢
Oh ! Mother Ghana is suffering ! Joy News , is this interview meant to show Ghanaians the best way to play the game of ' let's pretend ' or the use of " defence mechanism " ?
Looting state properties n u don't have shame. Your time will come
Komot for there
Mr. OA is having the matter judged in the court of public opinion before it is determined by CHRAJ. He has appeared on several TV programs (and maybe even radio) trumpeting the alleged evil that Mr. BA and SSNIT has committed. Nevertheless he keeps saying that the matter is for CHRAJ to determine. This style is all propaganda. Mr. OA should leave the studio’s and leave CHRAJ to determine the matter. Period.
Journalist and media are not asking the right questions .They can’t even be honest with themselves. We have all failed media government officials and society we have failed a lot of generations 😢
First big lie: Bryan runs everything at Rock City. The idea that he's a non-executive director is total nonsense. He is the booklong armed robber a certain judge talked about the other day.
You simply don't understand corporate governance. Keep mute
@@gyabsgh7699 is this supposed to be a response to my comment? My point is that I know for a fact that Bryan is heavily involved in the day to day administration of Rock City. He's saying in an interview that he's only a non-executive director. That's a lie. Please come again with a point that makes sense.
So we should believe instead of what the corporate documents and evidence on record says ! Anyways
Go to court
This guy thinks we're kids. How can you own a company and tell us you make no money at all from the company?
That’s how rich people throughout the world do when they enter politics. They put their shares or control in a company in so-called blind trust. Get yourself some education.
@zerosumgame Thank you for your education. It's because of people like you that we can't develop as a people. You're blinded by party colours so you struggle see the truth when it's in front of you
Mr. Educated person, provide one literature reference, and let's talk.
@@MMBawa I just told you what’s done globally to avoid conflict of interest when business people enter politics. You clearly don’t understand how it works, yet you made a comment about it. Get a book.
All you need is google chief. Go Google and come again. Don't ignorantly make comments okay. When you've educated yourself, and you understand what referencing means, you can come and have a conversation.
"Governments, if they endure, always tend towards aristocratic forms. No government in history has been known to evade this pattern.
And as the aristocracy develops, government tends more and more to act exclusively in the interest of the ruling class- -whether that class be hereditary royalty, oligarchs of financial empires, or entrenched bureaucracy".
Frank Herbert
This Bryan guy is soo arrogant, talking about to educate somebody such as Ablakwah. You were a military man working as a chef.
Ɔbuoba forget the babies!!!
Final negotiations document created by Bryan Acheampong
Looting state assets paaa nie?
Without a shred doubt, Hon. Bryan Acheampong holds a political position, but to be fair enough his business ventures should be recognized and celebrated. It's so clear that Okudzeto objections stem from enviness and nothing more. Very baseless accusations. He should raise the bar.
Do you understand what conflict of interest means?? That's why you declare your assets when you are been given a position... The problems isn't him buying it, but if it happens, they will use to state to sell properties cheaply far below the prices they are supposed to be sold for...
Stop fooling , Okudzeto did this same thing some 16 years ago
We now know what's behind all this. NDC power brokers are also business moguls using Okudezto in the wars in the corporate world. In the NDC divestiture were due processes followed and who were main beneficiaries?
This Bryan chap is so arrogant to start with. How can you be the OWNER and not have any monetary interest? That is total BS. This can only happen in Ghana. But these journalists are lazy. They should go investigate independently and stop this nonsense of asking Bryan and Okudzeto to spar at each other. Ghana needs prayers.
Hon Okudjeto is fond of destroying people reputation before going to appropriate quarters. He has always lost the case when he was put before the law. Hon Quashiga case is an example and that of KPMG and SML deals.
The fame currency he use to pay his workers he must talk about that too
The fact that Bryan Acheampong is taking this so personally is a bit alarming….this is about the country and its people, not him and his reputation or lack thereof…just answer the questions and be clear about the plan and intent. That’s how you earn the trust of the PEOPLE…this is not about your friends. When it comes to the people you serve it is above your relationships. That’s how you maintain impartiality and trust…you shouldn’t be a shareholder in state affairs anyways! Terrible
Let your reputation be dented or spoilt with lies or untrue information, then tell me he is taking it personally. U think it's easy to build a reputation?
Sammy. Sensationalism
Really?
Abuse of power bryan acheampong and corruption. No wonder he don't want to hand over power
People like you don't have a single brain cell in your head. Follow the discussion and think small.
Do you think a minister buying state property is sensationalism? With people like you, no wonder politicians are walking over us. It's our own money, workers money for goodness sake. Why didn't SSNIT float shares on the stock exchange for us all to buy shares? This kind of things is the reason why Osafo Marfo's son was brought in to do. It's so sad. One day this guys will answer for the rape of Ghana.
Anytime NPP comes into power. They always want to buy state properties 😢😢😢
That Bryan guy's is power drunk and criminal.
So the NDC guys have shares 😅
Yes and it’s 0.03 %. Not 60 %
@@yawsafo5594 how did they get that 0.03%. And what is the evidence that it 0.003%?
@yawsafo5594 why did they even buy 0.3 at the first place?
@yawsafo5594 why did they even buy 0.3 at the first place?
@@yawsafo5594 0.03% and so what? It's still shares, get over yourself.
Shameful
Why Should you own a company and the same company should pay you a monthly salary so Bryan don't tell us that you don't own salary from Rock City Hotel
You clearly do not understand what you are talking about.
when 5% is sold to Ahwoi's (NDC) its okay but when it s sold to Rock City you have issues
Does two wrongs makes a right?? What you NPP supporters fail to understand that is, this is encouraging create loot and share and we must not encourage it, whether NPP or NDC
The Ahwoi's are not in government and even that is wrong.
Why are these same politicians always rushing to buy state assets they claim are not profitable?
The anti-ghanaian Okudzeto Ablakwa is doing the bidden of his pay-masters the Ahwois who own 5% of the SSNIT hotels and bought those shares under the NDC but when a Ghanaian businessman and Politician Bryan Acheampong is buying the same shares in SSNIT hotels Okudzeto is blowing hot air.
How did the Ahwois aquire their share
Who's this sick one too?
Does two wrongs makes a right, why do you want the destruction of the state, if this continues, politicians will later control the country even out of power and this won't be good for the country, selling a state asset must be transparent for everyone to partake in
What credibility is he talking about? He's got none
If the sales was to a foreigner, you will never hear anything about it. Ghana properties should be sold to Ghanaians. Jealousy is killing Poor people in Ghana 🇬🇭. J J Rawlings took properties from Ghanaians and sold it to foreigners. The more billionaires in Ghana the country succeed. Okudzeto only draws salary from the government . Brian Acheampong is investing his money and creating jobs.
You lack indepth understanding. Okudzeto is not fighting just another Ghanaian who has just bought a state property. He's fighting a whole cabinet minister with an insider information on these properties even before it came on the market. If you ever have an iota idea of ethics will tell you that what Bryan Acheampong is doing reeks of corruption. The whole process was done to alienate any other Ghanaian who may have been interested. You can't be in govt and still buy govt properties. Your ignorant self can't even see pass this simple issue of conflict of interest.
