The Viper may be consistent, but I don't think it's going to fair too well in the finals! It just doesn't have the required pace.

After watching it again in slow motion at 0.25 speed, you can just barely see that the Viper is saved in the first race by the yellow cross brace holding up the track. Right at the last tenth of a second at the 1:28 mark. Will that kind of luck hold out for the rest of the contest?

Also- Brendan, you mentioned at the end how we remember how fast each of the previous winners were. EXCEPT THE RED TRUENO!!! THAT car was the LUCKIEST of all cars ever on the R&F channel! Not the fastest of its group by a long shot!

More American car dominance from the American channel. In basically every race, bar a few, the American cars are so much quicker. I suspect the channel creators put them in a faster lane or shaved some weight off them because they couldn't possibly have a European car be quick and a challenge for the "YOO ESS AYY".
