Rough way to start the race, unusual to see Scelzi wreck like that. Some seriously torn up cars this night, good thing for excellent safety equipment. Was this track asphalt at one time? I know I used to see highlights of a Douglas. County track a few years ago that was pavement.
@@chappybmx ok, so I wasn’t imagining things. From having seen the asphalt video, I can definitely say it’s much better as a dirt track- it just has a great layout and shape for that surface.
WOW, really glad to see the laps against the Outlaws to end 2023 and this years early season runs with outlaws and High Limit are starting to pay off for Tanner Holmes. Create and build on the race craft. Way To Go T
I hope everyone learned a lesson from the night before and had the right safety equipment and an ambulance there at the track. Good run by Holmes from where he started.
Guarantee you there still was people probably wearing t-shirts under the suit and not proper underwear. See it all the time even if rules state you must wear the underwear. Also there was an ambulance there. It's pretty common for a track to call in another ambulance as a transport or standby ambulance. A lot of times the ambulance on site has paramedics trained to deal with racing situations, accidents and extractions from race cars. So if they can get the person stable enough, they will call in a transport ambulance, to keep the race trained ambulance at the track. So they can continue racing. I have seen several friends get transported out by ambulance. I was also almost transported out by ambulance. They called for the transport ambulance, but before it arrived I decided I didn't want to go. (Worst decision of my life.)
@@GPSjammer In Southern Oregon the feature was called after 13 laps when Angelique Bell crashed in turn 3, breaking the fuel cell, methanol fire burned her bad, track had no more fire extinguishers and didnt feel safe
Congratulations to him and Holmes

Last year or the year before Brian Crockett took it over and they put dirt back on it. I remember in the 90's it had dirt on it too.
