vids like this state the facts: sidney just WAS charlotte's person. I saw certain energy between them by the end like he f***ing adored her and she was his rock so I'm not angry at lost potential but I can't shake the feeling charlotte forgot him too easily. a love story as potent as theirs is kind of eternal, no?
Agree! I think Charlotte didnt even really grief over Sidney, given the fact that not much time has passed since she left Sanditon and he got married (and died). It almost felt like the show wanted the viewer to forget Sidney and pretend as if Charlotte was already over him, that is why she fell so quickly for Colbourne.
@@jennyboldt751 Yes and it's a huge shame they gave her happy ending to Colbourne. He doesn't deserve her and never will. I guess we'll always have the truth in Jane's fragment and S1 though.
I wasn't happy with the S2 script at all and I agree what you said she moved on so quickly. I would have thought old fashion love affair doesn't die that easily. I'd rather they left it unfinished and hopefully Sidney will return someday. That's the only epic ending I wish and most would love to see.💌
I love this! May be some value in the "broken fairytale ending" if we get videos like this. I always liked angst.
i'd exchange the broken fairytale ending edits for a happy end easily, but since it's not possible, we make do with what we have (and, in sanditon, i think no new character was comparable to sidney, no one else feels right for charlotte)
Does anyone think there is a slightest possibility that Theo will come back? The writers left his death pretty vague (in Antigua, far from home, no one saw him dead). If they know Theo isn't coming 100% in the future why didn't they make him die in England with his family together at his funeral, with a grave for Charlotte and everyone to visit? They certainly left some wiggle room there. I know it's probably far fetched but I always thought it was pretty weird how they handled his death...
NOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭
i know, i know
