Great tips as to when we cut our kids hair in general. I usually take my kids see other kids have their hair done especially as they usually cry. I love that he's steady throughout the entire process.

You seem to have a great routine with your child. It takes a lot of skill to cut hair, especially a child's hair. I was always afraid I would mess their hair up .

If you know one autistic person, you know one autistic person. There is no "mild" autism, there is varying levels of support needs across different areas of their lives. An area where one child might have it easy, another may struggle immensely despite having a higher functioning label. This rhetoric is so so harmful for our children, I really don't think you should ever compare your kids. I work very hard with my son & team every day to be where we are currently. 🩷 Your struggle with your sons sensory sensitivity is valid, and I hope you see some progress soon. :)
